So Familiar

I know you

in my mind.

It's as though

you're a responsibility

that I have

the privilege

of caring for.

But I don't.

When I get

home

it seems as

though it's you

I should

be calling.

Then I remember

that you're not really there,

and that

no matter how

much I want to

you're not the one

I can turn to.
