April Fools Dreams

He wasn't there

and now he's here

I'll love and keep it shut

His smile killed -

and yes, he knows

I stood there holding still

We're forbidden

but not at night,

I slept and saw your,

face.

You said I was lovely

and you couldn't indulge

but your lips they

tasted sweet.

At morning's wake

I found you gone

wishing you knew me still

I'll see you in class

and go to bed with a dream

but wake up with

reality.

(How lonely)
