Preaching Policy

We preach the whole counsel of God without any concern for the popularity of what's preached or conformity to any denominational set of beliefs.

I preach what God tells me to preach. Sometimes, it's upbeat and cheerful. Sometimes it is harsh and hard-hitting. Woe be to me if I preach not the gospel--not just the partial gospel, but the full gospel, including the power of the Pentecost and the Holy Spirit.

If your local pastor preaches pablum, ignores the whole counsel of God, and if he's a happy talk artist that "preaches" psychobabble, please pray to the Lord and ask Him to lead you to a new local church with a real, full gospel preacher.

Here's The Regular Sermon--September 20, 1999

There are wars, ethnic cleaning, civil uprisings, and political turmoil worldwide--at levels never experienced previously.

There are also more and stronger earthquakes than ever, as well as more famines and pestilences than ever before.

Are these things astonishing? Absolutely not. In Matthew 24, Jesus predicted that they would happen. These things are no surprise at all to the Bible believer.

"And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars.." (verse 6). For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom..." Jesus said in verse 7.

He was right. We now have more simultaneous wars going on worldwide than ever before. There are plenty of "rumors of wars" globally.

Jesus also predicted that "there shall be famines, pestilences, earthquakes in diverse places."

Geologists report that the number of earthquakes and their severity in the 1990's far exceeds all prior decades of earthquake experience.

And "pestilences." AIDS is overtaking the African continent. Ebola is another killer. Neither of these pestilences can be stopped.

And famines are a common occurence today, routinely claiming millions of lives.

As bad as these things are, Jesus says (verse 6) "for these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."

These horrors are only a prelude to the "Great Tribulation," verse 21, which will be far worse, claiming the lives of a significant percentage of the world population. The remainder will wish that they were dead.

How can you miss the Great Tribulation? Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. He will give you eternal life immediately. Your sins will be forgiven and forgotten. You will be granted God's love, grace and mercy.

And, as one of God's children, you will be raptured to heaven during the Great Tribulation. Wouldn't you rather be a child of God in heaven rather than an unsaved, secular worldly sinner trying to make it here during the Great Tribulation?

Don't delay. Just call on the name of the Lord and be saved today. There may not be a tommorow for this, as Jesus could come today to rapture his children up into heaven.
