FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR

HAVE YOU BEEN HOPEING FOR ANY THING

Hebrews 11:1 now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:2 for by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

I believe faith is a confident expectation for Gods power and ability to manifest a supernatural act, through believing (trusting in, relying on, and adhering to) God to do it. Often times our faith must also be accompanied with our obedient actions. The Holy Spirit on numerous occasions at my church has consistently mentioned that we must mix our Faith with the Gospel: (the promises that were provided through Jesus death, burial, and resurrection Gods power and ability that he worked in Jesus when he raised Jesus from the dead.)

In the New Testament in three books it shares the same story of Jesus stilling both the waves of the sea, and a strong wind storm in all three accounts Jesus is quoted as saying to His disciples Matt8:26, Mark 4:35-41, and Luke 8:22-25 In Matt the writer quotes “Why are you fearful, o you of little faith”? In Mark “Why are you so fearful, how is it that you have no faith”? In Luke Jesus says “Where is your faith”? I know God through the Holy Spirit had a reason for putting this same account in three separate books. (Because the word is established by two or three witnesses) God wanted us to get the point about faith in his Gospel (death, burial, and resurrection and his power and ability) to do the seemingly impossible for us when we mix faith (confident Expectation) with Jesus Gospel (death, burial, and resurrection and Gods power and ability) to work in our lives today.

God knew that the Bible we read today would be read by his people from way back then to now, and well beyond. Every word written is for a purpose and that purpose has always been and still is for us to take to heart the testimonies of those that trusted in, relied upon, and stuck to believing Gods ability, would edify, and help us to put our trust in His ability and power to provide, no matter what our need might be including food, clothing, shelter health, protection from Evil powers, evil men, influenced by those powers of darkness, from any threat from animals, storms, earth quakes, the oceans, volcano, floods whatever may come down the road, (god did not leave us powerless to be overwhelmed by these things He gave us this Gospel to believe so we could trust him to deal with them by his spirit, and power).

There are many scriptures to confirm what the Holy Spirit is saying, pointing to the fact that all these people saw the power and ability of God work to overcome great obstacles. The walls of Jericho fell to the ground, Sampson’s supernatural strength, Abraham and Sarah had a son, Daniel the lions mouths were kept shut, the 3 Hebrews in a furnace untouched while those who threw them in were quickly consumed. In Romans 12:3 it says God gave us all a measure of faith. Romans 14:23 what ever is not from faith is sin, when we doubt Gods ability and power we sin, with our evil hearts of unbelief. Religion teaches us doctrines and traditions of man, telling us to not sin through using our intellect, not trusting Gods spirit to lead us that is why we so often fail. We must walk in the spirit and we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. One of those lusts is to trust in our own ability or power, instead of Gods ability and power. Jeremiah 17:5 thus says the Lord “Cursed is the man who trust in a man, and makes flesh his strength (arm or Power) whose heart departs from the lord.” When we turn to ourselves or other people and put our trust in their abilities we bring curses on our selves. Go look in Deuteronomy 28 and read about the blessings and curses and ask your self what am I experiencing blessings, or curses?

In Hebrews 4:2 for indeed the Gospel was preached to us as well as them; (speaking of Israel in the desert wilderness) But the word that they heard did not profit (benefit) them not being mixed with faith (confident expectation) in those who heard it. Verse 3 for we who have believed do enter that rest. When they who believed faith mixed with the Gospel they experienced a change. When we encounter trials, and tribulations (bad circumstances) and turn our trust from our selves or other people or things, and speak faith into our situation (some times as simple as saying heavenly Father I just want to put my trust in you and see your provision to bring me through this in Jesus name) God will show himself strong through the death, burial, resurrection and his power and ability and provide His salvation (deliverance from whatever Is hindering you from receiving Gods peace). When we are sick, poor, under demonic influence (drugs, alcohol, sexual lust, lust for material things) we are not at rest or peace amen.

I tell you the truth in Christ Jesus that God our Father provided every thing any person willing to trust in, rely on, adhere to His Gospel is able to receive by faith and if you don’t have the faith to receive it then try asking God to help your unbelief and sow faith into your heart by reading or praying the Psalms, or Ish 52&53 or other parts of your bible out loud until faith arises in your heart to access the Grace of God you need, and watch and see Gods power and ability provide for what you are hoping for Gods power to manifest what ever you are expecting God to do. As our parents in the flesh were supposed to provide for us God already has through Jesus work on the cross for us. The truth of the Gospel is that Jesus paid the price for every thing we need, He took our sin on himself and the penalty for it, he took our sickness, afflictions, pain on himself on the cross see Ish 53: He took our poverty 2 Corinthians 8:9 also Esh 53:12 so we could be rich, enjoy the spoils, that takes care of our material needs, Jesus overcame all demonic forces, powers, governments so we can be free from them, set us free from the curses of the Law he became a curse for us, made us righteous by his blood (his work on the cross for us) not my works but Jesus works make me righteous when I believe I am clothed in his righteousness not my own, Made us to be Kings and priest unto our God to rule and reign in this life In Christ Jesus all of this is the Gospel. Start praying for God to lead you by His spirit and power asking God to show you these truths in Jesus name and I am confident he will amen.

1Cornthians 4:20 for the Kingdom of God is not in word but in Power. In Mark 4:14-15 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God(Power) 15: and saying the time is fulfilled and the Kingdom of God (Power) is at hand (is here now) Repent (turn our will to Gods will) and believe in the Gospel (death, burial, and resurrection and Gods power and ability) In Matt 10:1 And when Jesus had called his disciples (students those who were learning about God t6his means you too) He (Jesus) gave them power (Gods ability) over unclean spirits (that’s devils) to cast them out, (just like Jesus did Jesus our example to walk as Jesus walked conformed to Jesus image Gods character) and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.

Then in verse 10:5 Jesus sent them out commanding them (you know religion wants to teach you only about the 10 commandants religion won’t show you about these commandments Jesus gave us we will talk about the Commission a little later) Do not G into the way of the gentiles, and do not enter into a city of the Samaritans. Verse 6 but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Verse 7: and as you go preach (publish, proclaimed, demonstrate) saying “the Kingdom of heaven is at hand (Gods power and ability is here now) Then in verse 8 we see the results of their preaching and others believing 8: Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. (Just like Jesus they saw Gods Kingdom at hand (here now) and the benefits of believing the Gospel (death, burial, and resurrection and Gods power and ability) demonstrated in their lives) Freely you have received freely Give they did not charge for it, beg for money pass offering plates, sell books, tapes, have a church garage sale, they as you read further had to live by faith (trust the power and ability of God to provide for their every need) please read the rest of the chapter and verse 1 in chapter 11 pay attention that these were all commandments of Jesus.

Now go to Matt 28:18-20 and read the commission Jesus commanded His servants verse 20 says “teaching them to observe (keep) all things I have commanded you. Then also read Mark 16:15-20 and once again Jesus speaks of signs that will follow the Preaching and believing of the Gospel. 2 timothy 3:5 having a form of Godliness but denying its power. (instructions of what to do if anyone is denying Gods power and ability to work in their lives here and now and from such people turn away (leave go get away from them) verse 7 describes them as always learning (studying Gods word, reading the latest book, listening to the latest tapes, seminars, theologies, and many other doctrines of demons) and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (gospel gods power and ability to work in their lives every day) Then in verse 9 it describes such people as sorcery comparing them to Jannes and Jambres these were 2 sorcerers that resisted Moses in Egypt Exodus 7:11-12,22 8:7, 9:11 Go read these verses as well as all 2 Timothy 3 and I believe God will open your eyes to see and your ears to hear in Jesus name amen. 1Samuel 15:23 rebellion is witchcraft. When we rebel against God it opens the door way into the demonic realms, then demonic powers come into us and start to bind us up. In Gods word it says Jesus came to turn us from the power of darkness unto the power of light, In 2 Timothy 1:7 for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and a sound mind (disciplined will) by the way this statement just said fear is a spirit and God did not give fear to us so where does fear come from? And do you have any fear? Do you think you might have an unclean spirit living with you making you fearful? But this also says God gave us a spirit of Power. There is a prayer in Ephesians 3:16-21 I suggest everyone pray it often, also Ephesian 1:17-23 preferably every day until their sown into your heart and memory.

But right now let’s take a closer look at Eph 3:20 Now to him God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power

That works in us. Power that works in who? Every person from Adam to Moses, to Abraham, to David, to Daniel, to Sampson, to Jesus, to the Apostles, to Believers today all trusted in Gods power and ability (Gods Kingdom) to do the impossible, and the possible for them by the power of God in them, and before Jesus came they did not have Jesus living in their hearts and we do. How much more should we with the fullness of the God head living in our hearts be trusting Gods power to do the possible and impossible in our lives, everyday amen.

Gods not looking for us just to trust him to provide the way out of the wreck we got ourselves into, but just like a father he wants us to be actively seeking his power and ability for every small and Large, and tremendous things in our lives every day in every way seek (look for) first the kingdom of God (His power and ability) and His righteousness (gods will not our own) and all these things will be added to you. Matt 6:33 go read Matt 6:25-34 folks we have to start having a conversation (prayer) with God telling him I don’t want to trust in me, I don’t want to trust in them? I only want to put my trust in you, I want to see your provide for _________? In my life I want to see your salvation (deliverance from something) from this situation or that circumstance that I’m not even supposed to be looking at but looking to your power and ability to provide through the Gospel of your dear Son Jesus and bring me through this because you already provided the victory through His death, burial, and resurrection.

We are not in our circumstances or under our circumstances; we are above our situation in Christ Jesus for we are raised alive in Jesus seated at the right hand of God in power far above all principality, power, might, and dominion. We have the fullness of the God head bodily dwelling in our hearts, and we have access to the Father and his power and ability through Jesus by believing in Jesus work on the cross for us and the examples and teaching he demonstrated for us. By the way every person written about in the Bible were just men and women just like you and me, the only thing that set them apart was they expected God to do something incredible for them and God did. This Bible that we read is full of testimonies of what God wants to do for those who will dare to trust him to provide Heaven on ear4th. These people were not waiting for God to take them to heave one day and falling apart while waiting. They were expecting to bring heaven into their lives here on Earth every day. Why should we wait for the benefits of living in heaven 3when God made the way through Jesus death, burial, and resurrection to have heaven on Earth now? My will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. In heaven they aren’t sick, poor, over whelmed by demonic power, their not sinning, they arm’ holding onto un-forgiveness in their hearts, it was all provided for through Jesus work on the cross so we can live here just like it is their.

You may say to yourself that’s impossible, Jesus says Oh’ you of little faith trust Gods power He will calm the waves, the wind, the tornado, heal your sickness, your pain, forgive you, put his forgiveness in your heart for your neighbor because you can’t find it in your own heart to forgive them their trespasses against you, provide money if you need it, and even when you don’t, provide a home for you, food, clothing, a car, God will cast out those devils that torment you that you don’t think are real, if you needed him to he would cause you to walk on water, multiply the food to feed multitudes, even to just help your evil heart of unbelief. What ever it takes beyond our comprehension, our ability he is a supernatural God working through our natural Bessel and a Bessel only holds what’s put into it. What are you sowing into your vessel? Are we listening to what the world is telling us or what God is telling us? Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ (anointed one, messiah) for it is the power of God to salvation (deliverance from) for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek (gentiles). 17: For in it (death, burial, and resurrection) (Gospel) the righteousness (Gods will performed) of God is revealed (something hidden, made clear) from faith to faith (trusting in the power of God through Jesus work on the cross) as it is written the Just shall live by faith.

It is so important for us to ask God to teach us to live our lives by his definition of faith not ours. We have to be taught by God through his spirit to believe him to provide every thing in our live from the smallest t things to the largest things. In the book of Revelations it clearly tells us that a time will come that in order to buy, sell, or trade anything in the world we will have to take a mark in our hands or foreheads. If you give in and take it there is no hope for salvation. It is best that we seek God now to teach us how to trust him and only him to provide all things. If you truly 5think you can look your starving wife and kids in the eye at this time and still refuse the mark your deceiving your self, and I have heard many a born again person say they will just refuse the mark don’t kid your self ask God to show you how to trust him not your self like your used to and you will see him teach you when he is ready.

When Elijah the Prophet was hungry God sent him meat in the beaks of ravens and led him to a town where God had Prepared a certain widow women to provide for him but first she had to be obedient and serve Gods prophet first before her self and her child. (could you do that by faith?) Then God provided for them through supernatural means. Jesus fed multitudes with just a few loaves of bread, and a couple of fish. God fed all Israel with manna from Heaven and sent birds into the camp for meat. These testimonials are for our learning so we can trust our Heavenly Father to provide our possible and impossible needs and wants as it lines up with his will for us. These are not fairytales as I myself once viewed them. But they are True testimonials for us to sow into our hearts that faith may arise in our hearts for us to trust God to do whatever it takes to provide for us today, and it is Gods good pleasure to do so for he does not want us to have any confidence in the flesh. Philippians 3:3, Jeremiah 17:5-8 Don’t let anyone deceive you it is Gods desire to provide all things in our lives not to trust in our flesh, or anyone else’s.

Phillippians:6 Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made know to God, Made known to God with thanksgiving, I kno0w we are used to thanking each other after we have received something but God wants us to thank him before we receive it. The truth is it was already provide for 2000 years ago through the death, burial, and resurrection (Gospel). When we give God thanks for those things we don’t have, God brings them to us manifesting them in our lives by his spirit and power working through us. This may be one of the hardest things to understand because it does not make sense to our carnal minds but God is always faithful to provide when we are thankful.

May the God and Father of our lord Jesus Christ open our understanding, and provide His spirit of wisdom, knowledge and counsel to all who read and apply this to their live in Jesus name amen.
