The Schurz Drill Team took 1st place in the district competition but got beaten Citywide. It's ok, we still love you. In the Individual Rifle competition, two of our cadets, Command Sergent Major(CSM) Nieves, Eduardo and Sergent First Class(SFC) Ortega, Carlos both took the first place trophies.
2nd Lt. Bielat, Michael will be taking our Fancy Drill Team up to Waukegan for their first competition this year. Good luck Michael. You're the best commander I never knew of 8-D.
