Fishing is another skill you can raise in the game of runescape. Fishing can also raise your cooking, wood cutting, and firemaking levels as well as help you in combat.

To start fishing you need to go to the fishing store, which is located in the Port of Sarim, and buy a fishing net.

Once you have this go to any location next to the sea where the water seems to sparkle. Use your net with this spot.

As your levels go up you can buy a regular fishing rod, a fly fishing rod, a lobster cage, and a harpoon. You will need different items to catch different fish.

When you are done catching the fish you need to cook it. You can do this by going to a range or starting a fire. The cooked fish, when eaten, will bring some of your health back after combat.
