Introduction
SOTHIS
Research is an independent research organization run by biologist Saskia
Bosman, Ph.D., who cooperates with an international network of scientists,
engineers and others. Among these is Spirit in Science/ International Institute
for Inclusive Science (3I-S), a group of 150 scientists in The Netherlands.
SOTHIS
Research is housed in the ecological quarter EVA-Lanxmeer in Culemborg.
Vision
The
vision of SOTHIS Research is one of an independent and at the same time
responsible science where there is integrity along with space for original
thought. SOTHIS Research performs its own research and also cooperates
internationally with foundations, industry, institutes, hospitals,
universities, agriculture and catering industry. The science performed at
SOTHIS Research, inspired by Spirit in Science, is inclusive, which means:
v There is openness for other e.g. intuitive forms
of knowing.
v There is a critical sense, which means
scientific and other forms of knowing are used, mutually testing their methods
and findings. This also means that methods and findings are checked with
colleagues.
v Quality of life is important, which means that
the aim, methods and results of the research performed are in accordance with a
clean environment, human and animal rights and are aimed at improving the
quality of life in general.
For
which groups and individuals?
SOTHIS
Research cooperates internationally with foundations like, Aquarius College, 3I-S, industry, institutes, hospitals,
therapists, universities and other schools, agriculture and also performs its
own research.
Research
and education expertise
At
SOTHIS Research experimental studies (including field work), theoretical
studies (involving e.g. calculations and models) and literature studies are
performed.
At
SOTHIS Research various fields of expertise and combinations thereof are
available and more may be added as continuous learning takes place and
experience grows.
v Brain research, especially electro- and
magnetoencephalography, including synchronization studies, evoked responses and
event-related potentials, related to (healthy) functioning, states of
consciousness and (peak) performance.
v Heart and breath research, especially
electrocardiography and blood pulse measurements, including Heart Rate
Variability (HRV) studies, related to health, states of consciousness and
(peak) performance.
v Vitality-related electric field studies:
capacitive measurements of electric field fluctuation around trees, crops,
food, drinks and (vitalized) water to test their vitality. This is still an
experimental method, but the first pilot studies already show promising results
and experience grows.
v Materials science for natural and
environmentally friendly materials.
v Atmospheric studies on e.g. the Schumann
Resonance.
v Studies on measurable effects of methods, which
improve the energy in buildings, properties and people.
v Various kinds of light and electron microscopy.
IMPORTANT!!!
None of these measurements are for medical or psychotherapeutisch diagnosis or
treatment, but for scientific research only.
Talks,
lectures, short seminars and longer courses are offered in the fields of:
v Brain and consciousness.
v The intelligence of head brain (cognitive),
heart brain (wisdom and emotion) and abdominal brain (instinct, courage and
survival). These ÒbrainsÓ refer to nerve networks which nowadays are considered
brains because these are able to receive, process, store, decide on and react
to information.
v The fluidity and intelligence of DNA, as an
information carrier and electromagnetic antenna plus transceiver.
v The energy system of (wo)man, the Earth and
space.
The
seminars and courses are usually very practical and allow participants to
experience through a great variety of exercises.
Services
offered
The
research services offered internationally can vary from one-time measurements
up to research projects taking several years, including data processing,
literature studies and writing reports.
Lectures,
talks, short seminars and longer courses are offered internationally in
English, German and Dutch. SOTHIS Research also offers students opportunities
for practical work.

About
Saskia Bosman, Ph.D.
Saskia
Bosman (born 1961) has studied biology 1979-1986 at the university of Utrecht,
including medical biology. Master of Science degree in 1986 in immunology.
electron microscopy and biophysical chemistry. In 1986 and 1987 she made a
comparative study of monitoring methods for neonatal intensive care in a regional
hospital (St. Joseph Hospital, Eindhoven Ð now Veldhoven). From 1987 to 1993
she did a biomedical study related to the medical use of lasers, in the
university hospital (Academic Medical Center) of the University of Amsterdam.
This resulted in a Ph.D. degree in 1993 based on the thesis ÒThermal effects of
laser light on tissue structureÓ. These research activities did not only give
her much experience in biomedical science, but also in biophysics. Besides
this, she has been trained in teaching and consulting methods for personal and
group development. Since her Ph.D. she runs her owns research business SOTHIS
Research and gives lectures and seminars internationally. Saskia Bosman has been a
staff member in the field of consciousness research at the Foundation for
Environmental Consciousness in The Netherlands. Here she has also studied
Co-creation and Co-creation Sciences in 2004. In the context of this study she
has performed research on the synchronization of brainwaves with the Schumann
resonans, which she currently continues.
