PRINCIPLES OF SURVEYING............

SURVEYING IS THE WORD MAINLY USED FOR LAND SURVEYING , BY WHICH AN AREA MAY BE DEATAILED.

MAIN PRINCIPLE............

The main Principle of Surveying is Working from whole to the part. Two main works done for surveying an area are.........

1. Distance Measurement between two points.(LENGTH)

2.Clockwise Angle Measurement of a line joining two points from Magnetic Meridian.(BEARING)

From Magnetic Meridian Clockwise Angle Measurement of a line AB in a direction from point A to B is called Fore Bearing and angle measured in a direction from point B to A is called Back Bearing.

Back Bearing = Fore Bearing + 180 , if F.B. < 180

Back Bearing = Fore Bearing - 180 , if F.B. > 180

Reduced Bearing Shows in NE, SE, SW, NW Directions. The Formula is.......

If Bearing < 90 , Reduced Bearing is NE = BEARING,

If Bearing > 90 < 180 , Reduced Bearing is SE = 180 - BEARING,

If Bearing >180 <270 , Reduced Bearing is SW = BEARING - 180 ,

If Bearing >270 < 360 , Reduced Bearing is NW = 360 - BEARING,.

Above are the some brief introductory principles of Land Surveying.
