Calydril has two forms he can change to at will. The first is his human form. In human form he looks like a thin 16 year old boy with wild blue hair, and shining purple eyes. He stands about 5'5" and weighs about 95 pounds in this form, this is the form he claims he is more comfortable in but spends less and less time in.
In his normal form, he stands over 6 feet tall and is still growing, he wighs at least 185 pounds in this form. He still has the same wild blue hair and shining purple eyes of his human form as well as simaler features. In his half-dragon form he also has claws on the end of his fingers, horns, little winglets wich flutter when he is excited about something, a tail he has no control over most of the time (he trips on it on occassion), his skin is scaly and a blue color, and little spikes poke out from his back (these are usually covered by his habit of wearing a purple cape).
Calydril is usually freindly and outgoing. He used to be a bard, performing songs and jokes to survive, and he still uses those skills with everyone he meets as a way of fitting in. He easily makes freinds and has a gentle caring nature that often gets him involved in things he would rather avoid. Though still technically a child, years of self-dependance have given him the outlook and the will of an adult much older than him. His sense of humor often comes through when he speaks, whether he likes it or not, many get annoyed by this. Calydril is not always so nice though, sometimes when he is around strangers the dragon instincts kick in and he feels angry and suspicious of them, he tries to fight it down but does not always succeed.
Calydril was the offspring of a dragon mother (he does not know wich kind) and a human father. With no way to take care of a human child, his mother intrusted him to an old wizard named Thekil. As Calydril grew older, Thekil noticed that young Caly as he called him, had the innate magical powers of a sorcerer. He helped guide Calydril through the rudimentries of magic, and was about to begin to teach him some major secrets when disaster struck. Thomas, the village innkeeper, suddenly went on a horendous rampage. He killed the entire village except for Calydril, whom he avoided. Calydril began to pursue Thomas, to right the wrong he performed. He had many adventures in his pursuit, all of them involving Thomas, but he could never catch him. Thousands have died in hideous ways because of him, and Calydril seeks to destroy him for all those misdeeds, and he especially wants revenge for what he done to Laurana...
