  Match Head Rockets

I have just started learning how to and building match head rockets (Nov. 21, 2002). They have to be about the simpilists rockets ever made! This page was made for the fun of match head rocketry. But there have to be disclamers. Of course never point these devices at a person. They can be very dangerous! So use at your own risk and responsibility.
So now that were done with that lets get building!

Do not think this is the only way to build there are other "better" way to build these.

List of materials needed:

Two wooden matches

Tin foil

paper clip

Step 1. Put the match and the match head on the tin foil near the top.The tin foil should be about 2" by 3". twist the tin foil around the match and the match head.

Step 2. Now the match should look like this. Then take a paper clip and put a hole in it the side of the tin foil to make an exaust hole(optional).

Step 3. Now set the rocket on the stand and hold a match or lighter under the tin foil.Hold it under till the rocket launches.

Here are some other helpfull sites with different ideas on how to make it.
