An Intro to the other Amanda

Howdy! I’m “The Other Amanda!” My whole life I’ve been surrounded by Amandas. They’re just everywhere! My best friend’s name is Amanda! I got my name because it sounded good with my middle name, and my mother had never known an Amanda before.
My life as a child was an easy one. I grew up in the country. Running around all day until nine o’clock at night in the summer. Making forts inside with sheets and chairs during the winter. There’s nothing like playing hide and seek at night time, when you can hear the coyotes in the back pasture. Sure we were scared, but we never would have told you that back then.
Let’s talk about now. I live alone with my cat Bobo. I work at First Baptist on Ocean Drive as a daycare teacher for the prekinder students. My boyfriend Harley is the most wonderful person in the whole wide world. I love him! I am taking Four classes here at Del Mar. (By the way Richardson Auditorium was named after my Granddaddy.)
I own a 1956 Chevy BelAir. Although she’s beautiful, and my baby, she’s the biggest pain in the ass you could ever imagine. You’d be surprised how easy it is to drive, even though it has no power steering and no power brakes. The only bad thing is my windshield wipers don’t work very well so I always hope for no rain.
