Being a firm believer in the American justice system, I am of the school of thought that most of the people in prison are there because they did something wrong and got caught. I don’t think that anyone can argue that if you engage in an act and know full well that it is wrong that you deserve to get caught.
Another kind of criminal that I don’t think anybody can have any sympathy for is people who abuse animals. These sick people don’t have any business being here if you ask me. There needs to be stricter punishment for people would even think of setting puppies or any other animal on fire. What is wrong with these sick, twisted, and sadistic people If you’ve ever seen what happens to dogs when they are trained to fight in dogfights it is one of the most pitiful things you will ever see. Fines and volunteer work is no way to deal with this kind of person (if you can consider these being people). They need to be put in a situation where they have to take care of a dog that have been tortured and almost beaten to death, and they need to take good care of that dog for the rest of its sad life. They need to see how much damage they have caused to so many dogs.
Another point is how much of our tax money is spent on keeping these individuals alive. What is our damage!? Do we really need these people? Are they contributing to society? We need to take all the jobs that they do and give those jobs to all the able people on welfare that need a job. Why do people in prison need jobs? What are they gonna do with the money they are paid? (Yes that’s what I said! We pay people in prison.) Cigarettes, drugs, and matches that’s what they are buying with the money they get. They don’t even have to pay taxes on what they earn.
We spend more keeping people on deathrow alive than is spent on cancer research. Put that in a statistic book! Its amazing what kind of good treatment these people get. They get basketball courts, weight lifting sets, television (cable television at that) and many other comforts that even you and I may not have. It is ridiculous what we do for the rapists and murderers of our communities.

I am a firm believer in the American justice system. I am of the school of thought that most people are in prison because they did something wrong and got caught. If you engage in an action and know it is wrong and you get caught I don’t fell sorry for you even if its something like statutory rape.
I don’t think Americans realize how much money we spend on the people in prison in our country. I believe that if we allow only one appeal for people on death row our money would go a lot further. Yes I know that there are some innocent people that have been put to death but if they have a firm belief in God or any other religion then they aren’t so bad off in the end. This seems a little harsh but how are we going to get anything done in this country if we keep on spending all this tax money on the deviates of our society?
Did you know that we give people in prison jobs? Yeah, we pay these people too. It may not be a lot of money, but why are we paying the people who destroy our society? I mean what are these people going to buy anyway? I know what they are buying cigarettes, matches, and drugs. Like they deserve to get a buzz off of anything. These may not seem like the most important things to spend time out of our busy lives to think about, but would you like to know that the man who murdered your neighbor is getting paid. Some of these jobs could be given to the people on welfare who need to learn some skills.
I mean come on people think! We pay more to keep the people DEATH ROW alive in one year than we do on cancer research. WHY DO WE EVEN CALL IT DEATH ROW ANYMORE? Why should they get any kind of privileges at all? These are the people that rape our children and kill our parents and drive drunk. If you kill someone on purpose and it is not self-defense then you deserve to die a slow and painful death. Why not put all these people in the same room and let them kill each other? That would get rid of the problem of housing.
