This delicious bread is sure to please at Christmas time or for any special occasion.
|2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour (self-rising)|
|1 cup sugar|
|3 tablespoons vegetable oil|
|1/2 cup milk|
|3/4 cup Olympic Gold orange juice|
|4 teaspoons grated orange peel|
|1 cup finely chopped nuts|
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9x5x3-inch loaf pan or two 8x4x2-inch loaf pans. Measure all ingredients into larger mixer bowl; beat on medium speed for 30 seconds, scraping side and bottom of bowl constantly.
Pour into pan(s). Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan. Cool thoroughly before slicing.
