began at the tender age of six. Since then, she has amazed
her family and friends with beautiful creations.
Grandma is also very proud, passing on her own natural
talent to a younger generation. Many hours are spent at
Grandma’s painting or sketching her masterpieces.
Her table becomes a whirlwind of color as Jen
brings to life, yet another creation. It’s amazing to
watch her at work. She’s an inspiration to all of us.
I'd like to share her talent on my website for all
to enjoy. I can't help but feel proud. Here, you will find
a few of her birthday cards from years past. Below,
I have also provided links to a variety of her artwork. She
has accomplished alot, bringing to life the Twin Towers, an
incredible tiger wall mural and a scenic palm tree
painting. Add to that, some beautiful sketches of tigers
and couples as well. As Jen creates more works
of art, I will add them to this page, so do pop in
from time to time for updates. Please enjoy~
I will update this page often, so please check in again. I’d like to share something I wrote for Jennifer. It goes like this…
Softly humming, she sat amidst the clutter of her bedroom staring intently at her canvas. She seemed unaware of my presence, lost in the loud music of her disc-man. Headphones adorned her ears, framing silken strands of shoulder length, hair. I stood in the shadows, mesmerized. I was filled with pride as long, slender fingers gripped the paintbrush, bringing to life another creation. Bottles that once were full lay empty, their contents now a kaleidoscope of colors on the pallet beside her. The slight furrow of her brow was a telltale sign of concentration. I chose not to disturb her. Dinner could wait. Her face downcast, she studied the canvas, and with a life of their own her fingers began to move once more. Full, pink lips once pursed tightly, came together in a smile as splotches of paint took on a shape of their own. Eyes, the brightest of blue, looked up as she acknowledged my presence. Her cheeks were flushed with excitement as I walked through a trail of clothes toward her. On a simple white canvas, her completed work brought a smile to my face. She had painted a rainbow, arched across a brightening sky, dazzling in its brilliance. In her world, there was beauty. Through her mind, she shared with me the true windows of her soul. Mom
I love you, Jennifer
