Here are the ten basic rules anyone should know about the web. 1. To visit a hyperlink, you clicked on the blue underlined words, which sends you directly to site. 2. The scroll bars are to the right and bottom of the screen, which help you you go down and up, or left and right on a page if there is more text. 3. The place to type the site of your website, is under all of the icons and heading of the web page. 4. When you need to go back a page, click on the back icon with a green circle and white arrow pointing left. 5. When you need to refresh a page because it froze, you click on the icon with 2 green arrows. 6. When you need to go forward a page, you click on the icon with a green circle and white arrow pointing to the right. 7. If you need to stop a page from loading, click on the icon with a red X. 8. To add a website to your favorites section, click on the star icon and then the add button. 9. To go to your home page, click on the house icon. 10. To look at your previously viewed sites, click on the clock with a green arrow.
