Regrets

I shall never forget the first day I saw you.

I thought my world had ended and I was in heaven.

You were like a light

That came to me.

It let me know how much of the world I couldn’t see.

It made me realise how much love I had in me.

And that love I longed to share with you.

Did you want to share love with me too?

I always wanted to say

The feelings inside of me each day.

But if I let you knew,

Would you have said we were through?

I always wish I could have said,

But now I seem to only regret.

That I could never tell you just how much

I loved you.
