hey all! my name is mike, and i am currently 17 years old. although not one of the founding members of this fine organization, i have been on board for quite a while, and am glad at the times shared, friends made, and drink gotten on these past few months on the sky line of NYC. i, along with fellow ROOFer Alex live in the farm of queens. (well, it aint no farm anymore, but i have seen racons and various other woodland creatures strolling the streets of my neighborhood while stumbling home at 4am after a night of consuming finely drewed hops and barley. although one of the younger members of ROOF, i too will be heading off to college next year. sadly, i will be in Boston far, far away from our little piece of heaven at the corner of 27th and 2nd. i will be attending MIT, where i vow to spread the teachings and experience i have gained this year. i also hope to spend my days studying there. no, i do not want to change the world, become a millionaire, or rule the world. all i hope to do w/ the vast amounts of knowledge that will be available to me is perfect the alcoholic beverage to the point where the feelign of the liquid quickly evaporating off of your lips will be like a womans kiss. the taste like sun-ripened produce, and the burn in your stomach like that of warm clam chowder running down from your mouth. wish me luck in this humble endeavor. i am originally form moscow, russia, but i have been in america since the age of 5. although i have been a citizen for more than a decade now, i still enjoy pastimes of my country and people. nothing brings me more joy than walking down the street and seeing a useful object cushioned by a piles of black plastic. in true immigrant fashion i cannot resist such a site and immdiately take the object home to examine, fix or put it to use. my collection currently consists of multiple stereos, computers, turntables, the chair my grandfather gave me for starting high school, a disected tv, and as well as my most recent addition (both to my collection and the ROOF), Lucy. i also enjoy consuming steel reserve (thank you Vadim) and shitty vodka as my father once did in the siberian cold, as well as buying good food on brighton beach. 'til next time!
