This is The worlds first dbz game(well, since db gt final bout on the ps1.)Heres how it stacks up:
Graphics
This is one of the GBA's best looking games. All your favorite DBZ characters look great, and the effects aren't half bad.Plus, its amazing seeing the DBZ inro scenes full animated on the GBA.
Sound
The music is also pretty good. But the main thing you'll notice is that goku's voice is crystal clear, which adds some points to the sound.
Control:
The control can get a bit chunky, and, why cant Goku walk diagonally? Why,why, why?
Innovation
It plays like a zelda game like anything else, but it fortunately doesn't rip off anything.
Enjoyment:
Unfortunately, this is LOG begins to fail.At the start of the game,Goku is weak and the enemies are monstrously powerful.Hand-to-hand combat at this point in the game is like asking to be stabbed in your leg.Believe me,the game won't get any easier until you reach level 22(which won't be for a looooooooooooong time). The quest itself is kinda short, about a weekend rental at best, and it is way to linear. No real sidequests, and the puzzles are kinda weak.
Replay:
Its a zelda style adventure, which normally has no extras. This game follows in that route.
Overall, this is the best DBZ game ever.Unfortunately, that doesn't save it from being only a few points above average.
Overall:7/10
