40% Power Saving

In ELMAT ELH Series Injection Moulding (A & A.E. models) machines Power saving is achieved through Accumulator Assisted Injection System (shown in the image on the left) thereby reducing input power requirement. Ceramic Band Heaters are shielded with metal jackets to minimize the radiation loss which ultimately leads to power saving. By using Electric Motor Screw Drive actual power requirement can be controlled which gives ultimate saving in power consumption. The total power saving on these three counts gives an ultimate saving to the tune of 30%-40% depending on Machine Size & Moulding Conditions. This is the latest trend in Injection Moulding Technology and once again ELMAT is proud to be the first to introduce this technology in India. These machines have specific advantage over standard Toggle Clamping or ram type Direct Hydraulic machines in relation to Mould Opening and Daylight. In spite of having longer opening stroke and higher daylight than conventional machines, floor area requirement is less for the two-plate machines. These machines have bigger platen surface area and platen parallelity can be achieved within very close limit in comparison to conventional machine.
