Dignity

Take me with you on a moonlit voyage

Across a sea of driven anger emanating from the presence

You so absurdly protest

And hold my hand as we jump headfirst into this

Pretending we are infected with incredible plagues

While we are the ones that so ludicrously dipped our toes

Into that forgotten realm of insipid lust

Howling out because our mind is undecided of weather

We feel hot or cold and now living here confused

Lacking a receipt depicting out souls now sold

Never can we get back the time wasted

Never can we explain the essence we tasted

Our savage life now lies in our hands

While we continue to cry and curiously consider

The life gone and the end of our innocuous span

Living now in a hole dug by our attempt at isolation

Living here while we continue to play the games that

We create and go by with each other

Ending up with no feelings as we lay

Holding hands with no remorse

Touching skin and brushing lips

As we become pure never able to speak

Words forming in my mind but the loneliness

Clasps around my neck and constricts

Never will it let go not even once I die because there is not enough

That will satisfy the hunger it posses

Eyes shut

The spine tingling

With thoughts and empty kisses

Filling up my soul

Until now I could never see

My dissipating dignity
