Martian Successor Nadesico

Martian Successor Nadesico (I use that name because more American anime viewers will know that better than "High Mobility Battleship Nadesico", the original name) is one of the most successful animes to come out of Nihon to date, with one of the most memorable casts, and some of the best mecha I've ever seen. I may not have told you this before, but I still can not decide what is the best mecha I have seen of all time. The Aestivalis is just a nice piece of machinery, with variablity and nice compact size to boot. Mekton Zeta (with a few modifications) has proven to be the PERFECT medium for converting these mecha. I say this will the utmost sincerity, Mekton Zeta has really gotten almost more attention than my Robotech Books lately because of my near fanatic process of converting the Aestivalis. And of course where would the Aestivalis be without the wonderful line up of badass NERGAL battleships, or the menacing Jovian Grasshopers, Spiders, Chulips, and their mysterious 'Ganger' type mecha.
Aside from badass mecha, Nadesico has a winning cast of lunatics, mad (wo)men, and plenty of crazy people to go along with it. Their quick witted and jaded Computer Officer, Ruri Hoshino ("Baka..."), was chosen as the best anime female of all time (followed closely by Rei Ayanami). So believe me, if you want something perfect for Mekton, Nadesico is the way to go. Have fun!
BTW, a BIG hand to Seiya's Aesti Hanger, thanks to him I got started, and hope to finish alot of what he started (his site hasn't been updated since May 2000, much like the Babylon Project Patlabor Website, and alot like the Escaflowne Compedium, well I work with I can get people).
