Adebisi was declared sane, and returned to Emerald City. He claimed he is not bitter, and forgave Antonio Nappa and Chucky Pancamo. However, through flashbacks we could tell that he harbors some ill feelings.

Adebisi requested to be moved out of the kitchen and to work in the AIDS ward so he can maybe help his people fight the disease. His request was granted. While working, he took some blood from a patient and later secretly injected it into Nappa.

Adebisi calmly spoke to Poet Jackson, who denied writing poetry anymore.

Adebisi went to Pancamo and asked him if they could be partners. Then Adebisi teamed up with Raoul Hernandez, Carmen Guerra, and Miguel Alvarez, asking them for their help in taking out Kenny Wangler, Poet, and Junior Pierce. Wangler had his birthday, and Adebisi snuck up behind him and blew out the candle.

Adebisi got Hernandez and Guerra to attack Pierce and Poet in the kitchen. The three poured steaming hot grease on them. The two were rushed to the hospital, and Oz was locked down because nobody saw anything. Wangler returned to Emerald City to find his cellmate is now Adebisi.

Adebisi went to Warden Glynn and told him that Tim McManus had fondled Wangler. Adebisi then went to a reporter and told him, creating a public outcry against McManus. Wangler was sent to Unit B. Adebisi then went to Hamid Khan and convinced him to beat Jason Cramer in the boxing match because he is white.

On New Year's Eve, Officer Murphy decided to punish the inmates because Emerald City isn't clean, so he comfiscated all porno magazines. Adebisi asked Augustus Hill to help his cause, and gave him a copy of Hustler magazine. Hill was caught with it, and sent to the Hole. Adebisi used this opportunity to get every black man in Oz (short of Said) to yell over and over: "Set Hill free!" Oz was locked down for the new year. That night, Adebisi discovered a gun in his cell, given to him by Officer Hughes (who was also sympathetic to his cause).
