1997

A famous basketball star convicted of assault and attempted rape, Jackson came to Emerald City and was idolized by Augustus Hill. Jackson also had a bad drug problem, and eventually forced his habit upon Hill. Jackson also began to bully cello player Eugene Dobbins, and that is when Hill stood up to Jackson. In retaliation, Jackson smashed Dobbins's cello. When the riot broke out, Hill confronted Jackson in front of a dying Dobbins. Jackson had a change of heart and carried Dobbins to safety.

1998

Jackson ran into Hill in Unit B and broke the news that Dobbins was dead.

2001

Jackson ran into Hill in the gym and informed him that he is up for parole. However, when Jackson's parole hearing came, he learned that his victim had testified before the parole board, and Jackson's parole was denied. He returned to a world of drugs (of which he'd been clean since the riot), but soon became tolerant. When he had to use a new kind that required him putting drugs into his leg, he quit using. Tim McManus offerred him a room in Emerald City if he plays basketball against him. In the matches, Jackson and his teammate Agamemnan Busmalis played well and won the tournament.
