What are Magic Cards?Magic The Gathering is a trading card game produced by Wizards of the Coast since 1993. The game is similar to pokemon, probably because it's made by the same company.The cards can be bought in 15 card boosters or 60 card decks. You can play Magic with 2 or more players and an average game should take about 20 minutes. The cards are illustrated by fantasy artists, and under the picture is the description and effect inside the textbox. The power and HP of creatures are in the lower right-hand corner. Each player represents a wizard battling for survival. Players construct decks that have various numbers of cards in them. The number of cards in your deck is unlimited exept in the league where you must have 60 cards. The cards include creatures, which battle for you, sorceries, which make an effect on something or someone, and lands, which produce the mana you need for summoning a creature or sorcery. If you are interested in playing Magic, you should get Starter Set. This set contains everything for a beginner. There are pre-made 40 card decks for 2 people to play, 2 playing mats to keep score, 20 damage counters for your HP, and a step-by-step guide to take you into the world of Magic!
