• Step one: Requests for Help
People who need food, shelter, budget assistance, counseling, family help -- all kinds of needs -- are referred to the Love INC Clearinghouse by churches and agencies.
• Step two: Analyzing Needs
Love INC works cooperatively with helping agencies to analyze the need. Is the need legitimate? What does the person really want/need?
• Step three: The Helping Church
So many church members have a desire to share Christ’s Love with people in need, but they often don’t know how to reach those who need their help. Love INC provides the necessary link between the church and the people in their community who are in need. Love INC is, as one church contact person noted, "God’s switchboard in the community."
• Step four: Following Up
The Love INC Clearinghouse follows up with both the church volunteer and the Neighbor in Need to make certain that the helping experience fully achieved its goal.
