"The world is a book. Those who do not travel, read only a page" (St Augustine)
As an Englishman, I love travelling. Its a way of life. In October 2001, I finished a 700 day overland trip from England to Australia and up to China and spent a year in Japan teaching English. I now have 103 countries, dominions and autonomous republics under my belt. I have kept extensive summaries of many of the countries visited. Some of the information may be current and useful. Some of the stories may be entertaining. It may all be twaddle. Who knows?
Latest Movement: August 2008. I completed the 'Mongolian Rally' with my friend. It didn't quite go as expected but we got to Ulan Bataar with a day to spare. It will take a little while to type up the report and upload the photos. Meanwhile I'm off to the Loire Vally in France for the August Bank Holiday
Just for a laugh I have added a guestbook to this page. Where in the World Are you?
