Kill Lord British
It's an old tradition to try and kill Lord British, just for the hell of it. Sometimes it even works. How to kill LB:
- Ultima 1: I've tried, he just won't die. Under investigation.
- Ultima 2: Just walk up to him and whack him with the quicksword. He dies real fast.
- Ultima 3: ?
- Ultima 4: ?
- Ultima 5: ?
- Ultima 6: Hit him with a glass sword while he's sleeping.
- Ultima 7:
- Use the Black Sword's Death power on him.
- Shoot him with a cannon.
- Double click on the sign in the courtyard outside his throne room when he's standing under it.
- Glass sword? Haven't tried this myself. Worth a go, probably.
- Serpent Isle: He's in the Dream Realm. Make your way to the northeast of the Dream Realm, and pummel him with the infinity bow. He'll fight back. There's an invisibility ring somewhere. Put it on and he can't see you to fight back. Once he's damaged to the point of death, he'll make a little speech and wake up. This is the Dream Realm, nobody who's really alive really dies, remember?
- Ultima 8: He's not in this game, therefore you can't kill him.
- Ultima 9: On Earth, drop the rat poison in the breadmaker to make poison bread. Take it with you through the moongate. Go to the castle and open the secret door in the kitchen that leads to the room with a loaf of bread on a plate. Replace that bread with the poison bread. LB will come in, eat it, and die.
