Bawdyhouses, Clubs, and Parlors

Welcome to social life ashore, in Bermuda, in Hornblower's Navy
Rumors abound here and arrangements for everything from anchor cable to wine can be arranged for a price
There are numerous bawdyhouses along the waterfront that cator to the seamen and lower ranks of the garrison. They have seen a press gang or two as well.
"Charmed" is the club patronized by most junior officers (Lieutenants and Midshipman)
"The Parlor" is the club where local dignitaries, nobilty and senior officers socialize"
"The Horseman" is a private club open only to the island's elite and is favored by Lord Rupert.


Countess Suffren

The Countess Suffren presides over "The Parlor" she is said to still be in mourning over her husband who died early in the French Revolution. Some say she is spy for England others France and a few think she is a double agent.

The Ladys of Charmed

Depending on the night of the week "Charmed" can bawdy or very respectable.

Lady Sarah Rupert

Lieutenant General Lord Rupert's daughter is a bit of a noncomformist. Still with the passing of her mother she has become the Lady of the Household and said to control the guest list to many social functions and has an influential say on who is admitted to "The Horsemen"
