Wellspring Revival Ministries

an Alaskan non-profit since 1998, our mission is to experience God's radical, extravagant love and then express it in meaningful ways.

This is pure religion: to care for the widows and orphans. It expresses the extravagant love of the Father. We all need compassionate, faithful relationships. When we are touched with the love of God we are forever changed. This change has all to do with being loved unconditionally. Because I am loved, I can love you. This love is expressed in meaningful ways. Wellspring Revival Ministries has started a faith based youth center called Joel's Place. Our vision is to create a community where marginalized youth can experience the love and healing presence of God. Young people need a large place to gather where they have freedom to express their faith. Not sure they agree with the name Christian or belong in a place called Church, they do agree that they need an encounter with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. Desperate for a supernatural encounter with a living God, they desire God to reveal Himself in a personal way. Doubting they are worthy of love, due to rejection and fear, still they push past the pain and find a holy place. And God speaks to this revival generation as he did through the prophet Joel; "I will pour out my Spirit." And the wellspring is His extravagant love poured out in their lives. If I say, "I love you" and send you away hungry my words are meaningless. I cannot send you away hungry, cold and alone when I am full, warm and loved by God and others, so my religion has to become practical. Let's walk in God's love and then give it away.
