Well this theory is that of the lurrvly Jennafur and I, after a drunken blaze in Leeds, we talked at this at length for the entire night, among other things which within time will no doubt end up on this site somewhere. (Killer haircuts and pink fluffy coats)
The picture was coped form the magnificent picture jennafur drew me, although copying it was really hard and the origional is much better.
Firstly Tinky Winky/Nicky Wire: The Tallest tubby/manic. Is the most feminine tubby/manic. Stands around looking pretty. Carries a Handbag. Walk the same (see Nynex video for nicky stomp) Both names end in 'ky'. Nicky/Tinky WinkyLooks even more huggable with his fingers in his mouth. Both speak a bit of Welsh. Always skips about. Wears his skirt in "a very special way". Tinky Winky/Nicky get excited/drunk and do cute little things very easily.
Dipsy/Richey Edwards: Second tallest tubby/manic. The most intelligent tubby/manic. Wears a hat often. Stands around being intelligent. Is the most mysterious tubby/manic.
Laa Laa/James Dean Bradfield: Plays guitar and sings (see April '99 issue of teletubby magazine) Is the front girl/man of group. Third tallest tubby/manic. Loves to dance (JDB break-dancing?) Get's excited sometimes and can be hard to understand when performing. Jump in the same way (see Nynex video.) Watch how Laa Laa moves and tilts her head, now look at James...try telling me that isn't scary!
Po/Sean. Smallest tubby/manic. Plays drums (see April '99 issue of teletubby magazine) Quietest tubby/manic. Naughtiest tubby/manic. Po/Sean loves her/his scooter.
There are many more reasons, but they are just desperate attempts. I think you'll find our evidence is pretty much conclusive.
OK so there is actually a few more simalarities in Laa Laa/James and Tinky Winky/Nicky. That has nothing to do with the fact that I just love Tinky Winky and Jen loves Laa Laa...what makes you think that?
