Here at Halfmoon Rabbitry I breed only the "Best to the best. " English angora rabbits." My Grand Champions and Best In Show winners are carefully selected and bred for: long beautiful silky textured coats that are easy care and wonderful and loving dispositions.
I am a well known breeder and show person in the Northeast. Many years ago I started out withn several English angoras and set my own standards and goals. I wanted to raise English angora rabbits that could grow long silkly coats that were cool in texture and could reach lengths of 10 inches or more.
Not only was it possible but I managed to breed the type of texture that webs and mats much less and therefore requires less grooming. I also wanted a friendly rabbit with a wonderful personality but they had to be healthy and live a long time as well. By using my motto "Best to the best." I have achieved all these goals I set for myself and my lovely rabbits.
You may select your show, wool or pet companion from the many beautiful colors in my rabbitry. All my rabbits come with a pedigree, warranty of good health and my own booklet so even the novice can feel confident that they can properly care for the new pet. I am also available by phone or e-mail to answer any questions you might have regarding your rabbit.
I am a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association and the National Angora Rabbit Breeders Club.

Angora wool is available in 1/2 ounce and one ounce packages. The prime plucked and cut wool is free from webs, mats and foreign material. The clean freshly groomed wool is laid carefully into a box and separated by tissue to prevent crushing or packing. There is no need for carding. Simply spin directly from the package. Many beautiful natural colors are available including chocolate frosted pearl.
