Interesting notes:
I visit  Ranchi nearly every fortnight,visiting Usha Martin as 70% of their ropes are ABS certified.Last week I was in HEC for propeller shaft truness check of an ABS vessel.ASlso I visit GRSE as MTU diesel engine assembly and shop trial are done for all vessels of ABs with Indian Coast Guard  & Indian Navy.I should thank God for giving me an opportunity to have such a wide experiance in New Construction ISM,IS1400,ISO9000 AND ALL EXISTING MERCHANT VESSELS. I have taken up golfing very seriously and  playing some tournaments.

4/2000: Received 5Year Service Award from ABS, Calcutta

I have become an external examiner for MMD since 2000 and taking oral examination for Class IV,& Class II-Motor candidates in MMD. Our ex- DMET Director MR.D.K.SANYAL is also in the external examiner
list and I had the honour to take orals with him. I also had the opportunity to take orals of the first Lady Marine Engineer of India recently when she cleared her Class IV orals and was handed over the certificate my The Principal Officer MMD. Also I was honoured to be one of the judges of the Technical model competition held in DMET on Maritime day 2001.
