CLIFF & MARY
CELEBRATE
THEIR
50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Cliff and Mary's 50th wedding anniversary celebration was held at the Grants Pass Museum of Art on August 6, 2001. A recently restored building built around the turn of the century, here's a view of the Art Museum's completely furnished kitchen.
Details of their anniversary celebration was kept a secret from Cliff and Mary. Here's their son-in-law, Mike, escorting them up the Art Museum's stairs to a room full of friends and relatives ready to join in on the big celebration. Here's Julie and her mother. What an exciting day they both had and one neither will ever forget!
Look at all that delicious food! There was Philippino, Mexican, Thai, cold cuts, turkey, ham, potatoes, casseroles, fresh fruit platters, variety of breads (donuts, cakes, dinner rolls), chicken, lasagnas, various steamed veggies, fresh raw veggie platters, and several types of salads.
There were about 45 people at Cliff and Mary's 50th anniversary celebration. The tables were set with white tableclothes. Some of the tables had a large white lace square laid across the center. The centerpieces for each table were a variety of fresh flowers in different styles of small flower vases. There were about 3 small flower vases on each table. Punch glasses had helium-filled balloons tied to them (different lengths of different colored ribbons). Those punch glasses were placed down the middle of each table. Then we sprinkled various types of confetti on all the tables. Looks like Mom and Dad are relaxing for a moment after eating a delicious meal. After a Toast was given, Mom and Dad cut their cake with daughter Gayle watching (they're copying their same pose from 50 years ago). Gayle is holding Mom and Dad's "Book of Memories", a gift from family and friends. This "Book of Memories" consists of about 90 pages of treasured pictures and stories written by family and friends congratulating Cliff and Mary on their wonderful achievement. The afternoon continued on with dancing and dancing and more dancing.
Here's a picture of the Standard Oil/Chevron 'gang' that was at Cliff and Mary's anniversary celebration.
