ANYMI GROUP PIC
First of all I would like to thank the APU staff fer lettin us ANYMI students use their dorms,dining hall an classrooms durin the week and secondly I would like to thank the ANYMI staff fer teachin us the stuff that they knew and passin it to us and finally but certainly not last the students of ANYMI fer the greatest time of my life.Just what is ANYMI well it's the Alaska Native Youth Media Institute that teachs Native teens bout the media field like radio,newspaper & photo along with video too fer eight days from June 4 to June 13 each year down in Anchorage Alaska.Well the eight days were filled with new things as we got taught lots of stuff it was kinda like PECS as we had a project to do in each class like radio made a drama which by the way to this day still is'nt done yet but oh well but let it be known that it was'nt all work and no play cause we did have our fun times durin the nite like goin to the mall,the movie theatre and of course just drivin round findin something to do durin the nite so we did'nt get bored off our butts.Near the end like two days fore we left we had a dinner at one of the local hotels along with a graduation thingy on the last day we had a blast as we went round town all day just goin from dance to dance that day along with a small private party back at our dorms that day we all had some great fun and I'm never gonna forget bout it either.Today where's the ANYMI students at well most are at home today doin their own thing but like most friends do we keep in touch while I kept in touch with ex-PEC student Michelle and fellow Fairbanksian Krystin but I never kept in touch with any of the other students as I never found em and today I lost contact with most of the students but as it turns out several of us former ANYMI students plan on goin back next year but we're still workin on the deal but I do know one thing....... we like to party!!
