Organized Religion

I am so not down with organized religion. I think ALL of them are cults. Most (I won't say all because I'm not familiar with all relions) of them try to brainwash you. I just hate how they try to push their "truths" on you. I grew up going to a Catholic church & going to Sunday school. I thought I was just stupid because I couldn't understand them & I was always questioning everything. I'm glad I could think for myself when I was that young, because I would've grown up believing everything I was told. I believe in God. But I think that he is there WHEN & WHEREVER you want to talk to him.

The After Life

I think that Heaven is what you make of it. I also believe in reincarnation. I think in some past life I died by falling from a very high place because I always feel drawn to high edges, yet I am scared to death of them. But with reincarnation, I think that you still carry karma from past lives with you.

Fears

Acrophobia- I hate heights. I'll just be walking, and I'll start to feel a pull towards it. I am scared to death of heights & I start to freak out and I have a death grip on whatever is close by. I've been known to scream on stairs & near glass walls overlooking escalators.
Claustrophobia- I hate small enclosed areas. I don't get this one very often, sometimes in little rooms. I used to get it at Camron's house for some reason. I always get it on planes though. I hate flyin because I can't stand the thought of being in such a small space with limited oxygen.
Thalassophobia- I hate the ocean. I actually need to be around it. I have to live near the coast. But I hate actually being ON the ocean. Even ferries. I have an irrational fear that there is a whale or something right underneath the boat & its going to freak out and tip us over.
Arachnophobia- I HATE HATE HATE SPIDERS TO DEATH!!!! I have always had an excrutiating fear of spider, but Feb. 3, 2000 was the worst day of my life. At approximately 5:30 am, I was getting ready to sleep, and I saw the biggest spider ever. It was at least 3 inches around including the legs. It was above my living room window and when I hit it with a broom, it stuck to it then ran under my coffe table. Then under my arm chair. When I moved the chair, it was no where to be found. So I started hyperventiating & crying and called my mommy & daddy. I don't care if I am 20. Spiders are the worst possible things. My uncle tipped the chair over to kill it, and it was inside the lining on the bottom. It is now dead. My it burn in Hell.

Abortion

I know this is a very touchy subject. For the most part, I am Pro-Choice. I think that it is the woman's body & she should have jurisdiction over it, not the church or the state. I do however, think that it should be done as an absolute dead end resort. I don't think women should just be allowed to abort their pregnancy if they feel like it. There are so many other options, such as adoption. I think that the only good reason a woman should have an abortion is if she was forced to have intercourse against her will & she was carrying the rapist's baby. I don't think that an "unplanned pregnancy" should be a reason. It was obviously planned because the sex was had. How can you have sex and not plan on the consequences? Unless you're dumb and don't know that's where babies come from. I also think that the excuse "I can't give it the care or finance it needs" is unreasonable. There's always adoption. I think it really sucks that irresponsible people can have babies that don't want them when there are so many couples that would love to have children, but can't.

Homosexual Relationships

I really don't see why people say "that's gross". Its obvious that people who cannot tolerate differences are the ones who have doubts about themselves. But it seems to me that if they feel so strongly about it, they obviously think it about quite a bit. So if you object to it, then don't think about it.

Extra-Terestrials

Of course there is life out there! How can people be so egocentric & say that we are the only ones in the ENTIRE universe? That's like someone living in America saying that there is no other human life on any other continent other than the one they live on.

Liars

Lying sucks. Plain & Simple. I hate pathological liars. I think their lives are so boring & unfulfilled that they need to make up their own entertainment. Why make things up when there are so many screwed up thing happening already?
