Nail-biting tension. Major West becomes suspicious of Dr. Smith while on the planet below, John is marooned. Don crash lands on a desolate planet thanks to Dr. Smith's sabotage.
4.There Were Giants In The Earth /grade: A-
The first appearance of the Cyclops beast which would be used in another episode in the second season.. The beginning of many native hostile alien woes.
5.The Hungry Sea / grade:A
The Robinsons just can't catch a break. John discovers that the planet is about to be destroyed by the sun, and has to sustain earthquakes, storms and an island sea to get back to the Jupiter 2.
6.Welcome Stranger / grade: A-
The beginning of many plots where Dr. Smith tries to sell out the family so he can return home. Why did they keep him around, anyway?
7.My Friend, Mr. Nobody / grade: B+
This episode marks the first time that Penny puts everyone's life in danger because of playing like a little kid. The moral: KIDS- FUN=DEATH.
8.Invaders From the Fifth Dimension / grade: B-
Smith gets kidnapped by aliens to replace their burnt out computer with his brain. This premise gets old real quickly considering about twenty episodes are like this one.
9.The Oasis / grade: C
Smith turns into a giant and tries to kill the Robinsons. Whatever.
10.The Sky is Falling / grade: A-
The Robinsons cannot understand the electronic language of a visiting space family. Space sure is crowded.
11.Wish Upon A Star / grade:A
A really good episode with a great plot. Smith stumbles upon a machine that materializes anything he wishes. And, another alien (how many people are on this "desolate" planet?).
12.The Raft / grade:B
The first of many times Smith traps him and Will in a space pod, land on a planet surface, and get attacked by aliens.
13.One of Our Dogs Is Missing / grade: B+
A dog is found in suspended animation, and saves Judy's life from a big, ugly, hairy alien.
14.Attack of the Monster Plants / grade: B
The only ever Lost In Space episode to have Judy star. Judy is kidnapped and replaced with an evil duplicate. Ooooh.
15.Return From Outer Space / grade: A+
Great episode involving time travel, where Will goes back to Earth and no one will believe that he is THE Will Robinson.
16.The Keeper / grade: A+
Another great episode about an intergalactic "zookeeper" that wants to add Will and Penny to his show.
17.The Keeper / grade: A+
After Smith lets all the monsters on board loose, it's in the Keeper's hands whether or not he will save the Robinsons. This was the series only two-part episode.
18.The Sky Pirate / grade: C-
Will is kidnapped by a pirate. An actual pirate. He says "arrgh" alot, has an eye patch and even has a mechanical parrot on his shoulder.
19.Ghost in Space / grade: B-
Dr. Smith believes he is being haunted by the ghost of his Uncle Thaddeus. Not bad, not great, not all that good.
20.The War of the Robots / grade: A
One of the best and most popular shows. The Robot has a rival in Robby the Robot (star of "Forbidden Planet"). First time Robot shows any real signs of personality.
21.The Magic Mirror / grade: B-
Penny screws up again and gets lost in another dimension. There she meets a nameless, chubby boy who plays with a monster (not that you dirty thing!).
22.The Challenge / grade: A
Kurt Russel comes to test the strength of Will, to prove superiority over Earthlings. Good show, and fun to see Russel as a pre-pubescent boy.
23.The Space Trader / grade: B
Another one where Smith gets in trouble and has to be saved by the Robinsons. And, it's all in the name of food, too!
24.His Majesty Smith / grade: B-
The beginnings of camp as Smith is elected by an alien civilization to be their king, only to be a sacrificial lamb to their deity.
25.The Space Croppers / grade: C-
Space Hillbillies. I needn't go on.
26.All That Glitters / grade: B-
Smith aquires a curse where whatever he touches turns to platinum. Unfortunaetly, he touches Penny. Why did they keep him around?
27.The Lost Civilization / grade: B-
The Robinsons stumble on a Princess that Will makes it with (not really), and an army that wants to take over the Earth. Wow. Alot of aliens sure are interested in conquering our small little planet.
28.A Change of Space / grade: A-
Everyone helps out Dr. Smith after he is transformed into an old, old man. Even Major West cares for him.
29.Follow the Leader / grade: A-
John's mind and body is possessed by alien warrior's spirit. Good episode gets hurt by one of the sappiest endings in television history.
SECOND SEASON
30.Blast Off Into Space / grade: B
A miner has doomed the planet the Robinsons were on forcing them to make a quick take off.
31.Wild Adventure / grade: B
An enjoyable episode with a stupid title. The Robinsons are set back to going to Alpha Centauri, but, Smith gets hypnotized by alien hottie, goes into space, and the Robinsons have to save them by going off course making them once again, you guessed it, lost in space. Why did they keep him around?
32.The Ghost Planet / grade: B-
Another man against machine episode where the Robinsons find a civilization of robots who make humans into their slaves.
33.The Forbidden World / grade: B
Will, Smith and the Robot get captured by aliens(of course!) who plan to destroy the Jupiter 2. Why? Why not?
34.Space Circus / grade: D
The leader of a space circus (this must've sounded like a good premise at the time) tries to persuade Will into joining them. This episode was written by Bob and Wanda Duncan who are both idiots.
35.The Prisoners of Space / grade: C
The Robinsons are put on trial for crimes Dr. Smith commited. Why did they keep him around?
36.The Android Machine / grade: D-
Another piece of crap from Bob and Wanda Duncan about a department store that Smith orders an andriod woman from. Whatever.
37.The Deadly Games of Gamma 6 / grade: C-
Camp. Pure camp. The plot involves Dr. Smith boxing a midget I shit you not.
38.The Thief From Outer Space / grade: C+
Will, Smith and Penny are kidnapped. How many episodes have the word "space" in them?
39.Curse of Cousin Smith / grade: B-
Dr. Smith's cousin comes to kill him to collect family inheritance. Sure.
40.West of Mars / grade: A-
One of the most enjoyable and popular episodes where DR. Smith changes places with a space gun-slinger. Not an incredibly complex plot, but, great fun.
41.A Visit to Hades / grade: D
Stupid "clip" show pretty much sucks. From the writer who brought you 'The Sky Pirate".
42.The Wreck of the Robot / grade: B
Aliens steal and disasseble the Robot to find how Earth machines work so they can conquer Earth. Worn premise? No way!
43.The Dream Monster / grade: B
Run of the mill episode where the Robinsons emotions are taken from them to be put into an android.
44.The Golden Man / grade: B+
A giant frog is fighting a gold guy. What the hell kind of stuff were they on, and where can I get it?
45.The Girl From the Green Dimension / grade:B
The alien hottie who almost killed Dr. Smith is back, drawing Smith into a love triangle. Also, Will turns green. Again, whatever.
46.The Questing Beast / grade: D
More crap from writer Carey Wilbur who also puked out "A Visit to Hades" and "The Sky Pirate".
47.The Toymaker /grade: F
Once again, Bob and Wanda Duncan inflict pain into our lives and turn Dr. Smith into a toy. I hate the Duncans.
48.Mutiny in Space / grade: B+
Pretty damn fine episode about a mad space pirate who is on a rlentless search for his first mate who commited mutiny.
49.The Space Vikings / grade: D
Dr. Smith fights Thor, the god of thunder. It's even dumber than it sounds.
50.Rocket to Earth / grade: C+
Grampa Munster comes and befriends Dr. Smith who tries to steal his ship.
51.The Cave of the WIzards / grade: B
Once again, Smith screws everything up, and the Robinsons have to save him. Why do they keep him around?
52. Treasures of the Lost Planet / grade: B-
More space pirates and more stuff that Dr. Smith screws up.
53.Revolt of the Androids / grade: D
More Bob and Wanda Duncan crap, bringing back the android prostitute Smith ordered ("The Android Machine").
54.The Colonists / grade: B
Just when you thought the show couldn't get more sexist, it did. Female warriors make men their slaves, and Dr. Smith holds the Robinsons' lives in the balance.
55.Trip Through the Robot / grade: A
One of the best and most popular episodes, the Robot is dying, and it's up to Will and Dr. Smith to save him.
56.The Phantom Family / grade: B
Once again, the Robinsons are replaced with android duplicates. Same crap, different episode. All in all, still pretty good.
57.The Mechanical Man / grade: B+
Dr. Smith's personality get's changed into the Robot's and vice versa. Fun watching Jonathon Harris flail his arms.
58.The Astral Traveler / grade: B-
Enjoyable, if not great, sci-fi trite where Will and Smith are trapped in a haunted dungeon in 19th century Scotland.
59.The Galaxy Gift / grade: B-
Penny is given a choice: give up an amulet an alien she just met gave her and asked her not to, or watch her family die. What to do, what to do.
THIRD SEASON
60.The Condemned of Space / grade: B+
Dr. Smith lets loose a bunch of cryogenically frozen criminals who mount an escape. Why do they keep him around? Robby the Robot is in this one, too.
61.Visit to a Hostile Planet / grade: A+
Another time-travel episode. One of the best of the series. The Robinsons return to Earth in the year 1947 where they are mistaken as "martians". Blame Orson Wells.
62.Kidnapped in Space / grade: B-
John gets killed by a laser beam after androids force the computer to operate on their dying leader. So, John's dead? Wow!
63.Hunter's Moon / grade: B
John (wait, I thought he was dead!) gets involved in a game of cat and mouse with a hunter named Megazor.
64.The Space Primevals / grade: C
Don and Smith are captured by primitives ruled by a computer. "Star Trek" later used this premise in the episode, "The Apple".
65.The Space Destructors / grade: D+
Smith creates android replicas of himself. A promising idea that just never works.
66.The Haunted Lighthouse / grade: C+
An alien boy named J-5 travels with the Robinsons to a space station where he uses his mental powers to unleash a ferocious beast.
67.Flight Into the Future / grade: A-
Will, Smith and the Robot(of course), land on a planet where they meet people who say they are the descendants of the Robinsopns, and say the year is 2270 A.D. Really good episode.
68.Collision of the Planets / grade: D-
Space hippies destroy the planet. This episode sucks.
69.The Space Creature / grade: B-
The Jupiter 2 are victims to a creature thta feeds on fear. Also, Smith tries to kill Will.
70.Deadliest of the Species / grade: C-
The Robot falls in love with a female Robot. This is one of the stupidest shows of all time.
71.A Day at the Zoo / grade: D
The title says it all. Campy crap.
72.Two Weeks In Space / grade: C
Zumdish, from "The Android Machine" and "The Toymaker" is now running a touring agency. Camp, camp, camp, camp!
73.Castles In Space/ grade: C
Will gets kidnapped again, yada yada yada yada.
74.Anti-Matter Man / grade: A+
John's evil twin takes over his life. Very good episode that has the sure-fire sci-fi theme: parallel universes.
75.Target: Earth / grade: B-
Shapeless aliens pose as the Robinsons (again) so they can take over Earth (again).
76.Princess of Space / grade: D
Campy crap. Penny is mistaken for a princess, whatever.
77.The Time Merchant / grade: A
Great episode written by Bob and Wanda Duncan if you can believe it! Smith gets sent back to Earth and again controls the Robinsons fate.
78.The Promised Planet / grade: F-
This is one the worst things ever to be on television. More space hippies, incense, beads, long hair, and people saying "groovy". I hate this episode very much. Especially where Penny dances.
79.Fugitives in Space / grade: B
Don and Smith go to a prison planet and try to escape wit ha reject from "Planet of the Apes".
80.Space Beauty / grade: C-
Farnum, from "A Day at the Zoo", is back and tries to get Judy to en ter a beauty contest.
81.The Flaming Planet / grade: B
The last of a warrior race wants someone to stay with him for one glorious battle or he will destroy the Jupiter 2. And, Smith becomes a mother (seriously).
82.The Great Vegetable Rebellion / grade: B
The infamous episode. The one "Lost in Space" will be remembered for. A talking carrot turns Smith into a piece of celery. During shooting, cast couldn't even keep a straight face.
83.Junkyard of Space / grade: B
Jupiter 2 lands in a galactic Junkyard. Smith screws everything up. Again. Why did they keep him around?
