BECOME A TRUE BELIEVER

Are you a good person? Click here and let's think about this.

Hello.

My name is Tim Taylor.

I hope you've enjoyed the site links I've offered.

I just want everyone who sees this to know it is vitally important that you turn your life over to Jesus Christ.

I know this is R A D I C A L , but it really is a matter of life and death!

I am not exaggerating.

I say this out of a pure concern for your eternal welfare. My motives are genuine.

I have no profit motive because I'm not trying to sell you anything.

I just want everyone to know the joy and peace that comes from a direct relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Where you will spend all eternity depends completely on what you believe about Jesus Christ.

Although this is hard to accept in our world where people think one religion is as good as another, Jesus Himself said in John 14:6,

"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except by me."

Jesus Christ is God Himself in human form.

That's the true meaning of Christmas.

Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God -- fully God yet fully man.

If you need a reason to believe in Christ, try some of these (click here)

Here's what you need to do:

First, get a modern English Bible, like the New American Standard Bible (NASB) and read these verses:

If you like, you can read them online by clicking on the Bible references:

Romans 3:23

Romans 5:8

Romans 6:23

John 3:16

Romans 10:9-10

John 3:3

John 14:6

2 Corinthians 5:15

Revelation 3:20

These Bible verses explain the basics of becoming a true believer.

Acknowledge that God exists and that He loves you, knows you, and only wants the best for you.

Recognize and admit that God is holy and sinless and that you aren't.

Neither am I.

Admit this to God in prayer.

Tell God you accept Jesus Christ's death on the cross of Calvary as payment in full for your debt of sin.

We are all sinners before God.

Admit it.

Confess this to God.

Depend totally and only in Christ.

Accept Christ as your own personal Lord, Master and Savior, because Christ can save you from the eternal death your sin naturally deserves.

Repent of your sinful lifestyle -- that is, the attitude and actions which say, in effect, "I can make it on my own, without God in my life".

Turn away from those attitudes and actions which are opposed to God; which rebel and resist God.

You know what sin is, right? It's violating God's laws. Laws like these.

Now while we are not saved by KEEPING the laws of God, the law shows us that we have failed to do what we should have done and have done things we should not have done.

Repent and change yours ways. Decide today to accept Jesus Christ as the only way to be right with God.

I know this is a BIG CHANGE, but change can be good.

This choice is the BEST one you'll ever make.

You will never regret it!

Commit your life to obey and serve Christ, surrendering your will to His Will.

Tell Him all of this plainly, in your own words.

This is the essence of prayer.

Tell God you trust in Christ and ONLY in Christ for your eternal salvation and an eventual home in Heaven.

As a follow-up to your decision to follow Christ

(and I hope you will make that decision),

read the Bible, especially the New Testament.

Start reading in the 4th book called JOHN.

If you like, you can try this online Bible that will take you there.    Click here

After you've read the Bible book called JOHN, click on the Bible book of LUKE Click here

Then when you want to read any other part of the Bible, go to The New American Standard Bible (NASB) and you can read from any part of the Bible online.

Find a good, Bible-believing, Bible preaching church in your area to attend and go there this Sunday.

Introduce yourself to the minister.

Explain that you're a new believer and want help to learn more about Christ.
