GeoAlaska: Theatre & Film
The wonder of the Internet and the Web is that you can submit your homework at any time (send me your URL) and I can check it right away (click on it). Make your page, let me see it -- and, yes, I will grade it and send you my comments. Since you are not taking this class for University credits, your grade is about progress in class. Redo it and let me know and get a new evaluation.Service WebSites: HotBot: The #1 Search Engine
BTW, if I have enough students in this class and if you're willing to pay tuition, I can ask my University of Alaska Fairbanks to enroll you as UAF student and you can have college credits (3) at end of your course work.
For now it's free exchange. Free -- because I want "more better" sites from and about diaspora. This is a part of the mission of the House of Sellassie. If you are willing to work, I'll work with you.
If you read this page, you are sitting in front of some computer (I use MS Internet Explorer as my main browser) and can get yourself free email address (get firstname.lastname@example.org). You are ready to be a student.
Oh yes, you have to have your OWN website.
When you have your email, website and commitment -- contact me : email@example.com.
Most likely you are not in Alaska and live in a different time-zone, therefore you do your work when you have time and I answer you when I have time. Nevertheless, like every class we have our deadlines. If you are not active for three months (semester), I consider you a dropout.
What to expect?I can't spend much time talking about web-building; besides you can find plenty of good manuals and even classes online. Here is our first project -- AssocTrac: go to the WebMarketing Center, read, sign and follow instructions!
With web-marking the picture is different. There is more art than science.
You have to study how others do it and most important you have to study YOURSELF!
