R.A. Salvatore, what an incredible author. I know I say that I have alot of favorite authors, but you can't just have one. I haven't quite read anything like R.A. Salvatore, his action-packed books keep you reading long past your bedtime, and always wanting more, no matter how many books you have to read, he doesn't let you go!

I would have to say that The Demon Wars, his newest series is my favorite, even though there are only two to date.

I am also in favor of the Darkelf Trilogy and the Icewind Dale trilogy. He has a new bookcoming out called the Silent Blade, and the Darkelf Trilogy will be in hardcover, that's right all three in one omnibus edition. Look for them in bookstores whenever they are released.
