Hand in Hand 01-23-2000
This is a picture of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by a surgeon named Joseph Bruner. The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from the mother's womb. Little Samuel's mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta. She knew of Dr. Bruner's remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb. In the procedure, a C-section removes the uterus and the doctor makes a small incision to operate on the baby. During the surgery on little Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developed, hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon's finger. The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect clarity. According to the Readings... ...the human body needs gelatin... ...because gelatin works with the glands of the body to enable the glands to absorb digested vitamins that would not be active if there is not sufficient gelatin in the body.* *Reading 849-75 or page 314 of The Edgar Cayce Companion. In essence, gelatin seems to CARRY the vitamins into the glands. The Readings also state that the glands of the body are as churches. So one might say that gelatin seems to CARRY the vital forces of vitamins into the churches. Now let the mind go to the word angel. According to the Readings, the angelic aspect of self is the messenger, or CARRIER, between the the physical aspect of Self and the intelligent Creative Force WITHIN. Three root letters of the word angel are gel. From another point of view... ...gel is leg. Legs usually CARRY the burden of the load. Now allow the mind to go back to the word gelatin. The physical aspect of the mind only sees the blocked word gelatin. The spiritual aspect of the mind, under the Law of One, easily sees two words that are As One. ..........ge(l)atin........ The two words are gel and latin. So now the mind may also see leg and latin... ...as the letters may now move freely... ...for words to the angelic aspect of the mind are not blocked. Now allow the mind to go to an unusual story in the Bible. It is the story of how Jesus, the Pattern, cast a multitude of unclean spirits from a tormented man whose uncleaned spirits called themselves legion for they were many.* *Mark 5:9 The spirits ask Jesus not to torment them but cast them out of the man and into a herd of feeding swine on a nearby mountain. Jesus did just that and then the herd immediately ran down the mountain and drowned in the sea. The man was then found to be in his right mind. Here is what may be kind of interesting. Again, here is movement of spirits, and they are tied to the word leg-ion. An earlier message to this group showed how ion may represent movement. Now allow the mind to go to one of the most intelligent ANIMALS that lives in the sea and breathes air. It is called the porpoise. It just happens that the word porpoise is derived from the "latin" word porcus--pig and piscis--fish. In essence, a porpoise is a pig-fish. Could it be possible that this story is emblematic of intelligent spirits that had NO Purpose or Ideal as defined in the Readings... ...and "literally' used the legs of the swine to CARRY them down the mountain to drown themselves in the sea of truth? After all, a porpoise does have a snout, the same as pig..., ...and can swim..., ...just like a fish..., ...and is very in-tell-i-gent..., ...and pigs' feet just happen to be an excellent source of gelatin. ======================= The Essence of GEL ===================To the angelic aspect of the mind that transforms the letters of the physical aspects of self... ...to the angelic aspect of self that carries the letters of words WITHIN... ...this is the essence of GEL that is the Pattern of Jesus, the Lord, and God, the Father, As One WITHIN, the Earth plane of the created body.
