Setting Self aside can be described as: Leaving Self Moving away from Self Moving out of the Shell What the Readings describe is the NATURAL ability of the mind to move in and out of its..., ..own Self Conscious Mind, the Box, the Shell, that the mind, as the active force..., ...has built, and has encased itself into. Remember the Voice that emanated from within Jesus, the Pattern, who said that the Voice was not His, but was of the Father within Him? According to the Readings, that same Voice is a Force, called God, Our Father, that is within every living human created body. Remember what that Voice said? I am the Door, and the Way. In essence, if the mind KNOWS that there is a Door and Way to safe haven that the mind may enter therein, it will feel confident to leave the confines of its OWN self conscious mind. Why? because it knows it will be going to the Comforter. Remember? This information is NOT pie in the sky. It is for real. And it is the natural thing for the mind to learn how to do. Remember that the Voice within Jesus, the Pattern, said that his sheep could go in and out His Door? Those sheep are minds that have re-called, or re-learned His Voice. Every mind can learn that Universal Voice. Every mind can THEN enter in and leave through His Door at will. Jesus, established the Pattern that will allow the mind to do just that. Edgar Cayce verified the truth of that Pattern EVERY time he set his self conscious mind aside to give a Reading. He did it through hypnosis, to show us how to do it an even easier way. Was he able to go in and out the Door? He only read the Bible completely through for every year that he lived. 67 times! Do you think his mind NOT learned where to go when it set itself aside? As many have said, we are spiritual souls being housed in a physical body while we are alive on this earth plane. The mind always has a constant companion, the soul, whether or not it is housed in a living created body. When the soul enters a physical created body, the mind must first learn to be conscious of itself in that body. It becomes self consciousness. The building of that consciousness literally encases, or traps, the mind itself. Jesus, the Pattern, the Christ Consciousness, enters the earth Plane, and the Truth, the Voice within Him... ...states..., ...I AM the Door of that boxed in Self Conscious mind that will allow the mind to escape its OWN entrapment. The Voice of the Creative Force has the power to literally set the mind and soul free to return to Our Father, Our Maker. Don't forget---as the free will mind guidance system goes---so goes the soul. Remember these Words that emanated from within Jesus, the Pattern. "..and, thou shalt love thy neighbor AS thyself."* *Matthew 19:19 And again, who is the mind's very closest neighbor IN thyself? According to the Readings, there are a number of ways this can be done. Edgar Cayce used hypnosis, but even the Readings suggest you don't try that at home. Meditation is recommended. Music is recommended, especially the harp for that is what the Master played according to the Readings. Prayer is important, which we all can do. The main thing is to forget self and tune into the Creative Force within. This writer can't sing, can't play any musical instrument, can't do meditation worth a hoot, so what does that leave? I can move letters, so according to the Readings, I will use literally what I have at hand..., ...a hand, a pen, or keyboard, and 26 symbols called letters. But instead of using them as mine, I use them as His when I want to go in His door..., ...and then use them as my own when I want to go His door. According to the Readings, the mind is Both physical and spiritual. I know that this is true. Watch me go in His Door. (t)he A perfect match to His Pattern. He did go to the Cross (t) right? I just went through His Door. Now I will come out His Door. the This works because I used the letters as His ( "I AM Alpha and Omega) remember?..., ...and THEN moved them into His Pattern. Those movement vibrations are felt throughout the created body and the Creative Force responds in kind for my mind has made a matched attunement. Likes attract likes, Remember? This is very simple method that everyone can try at home or anywhere. Even a little kid can do it. Ever see a kid meditate? Remember the Master said one must become AS a little kid in order to enter the kingdom of heaven through His Door. A tennis player only improves with practice. These movements create vibrations that emanate through the created body and think that the intelligent Creative Force does NOT know that the mind is doing its best to make attunement? Thank you Debra Dee Freeman of Virginia Beach, Virginia for your inspirational letter to the editor regarding the ARE's omission of the Pattern in Jesus. They should learn to follow the Readings that ARE charged to maintain. Thank you for putting excerpts of Reading 262-75 into the light for ALL to see. "As we stumble at times, blinded by selfishness, ignorance, doubt and fear, we can only turn to the promises of our Christ that He will guide and direct if we will seek His face." "In the name of JESUS, the Christ, we seek the light that will guide us along the path HE would have us go." "For ye look to Him who is the author and the finisher of faith. In Him IS thy Destiny. Turn ye not away from Him." This Reading was given to an initial Search For God group..., ...for God's sake. Please stop stumbling around, turn around, and listen to the very words you are charged to preserve. Below is another sign of the ARE backing down the Pattern in Jesus (His Cross being a major factor in His Pattern). The Seal of the ARE used to be a dove with a olive branch and a Cross in a circle. Today that cross looks a lot more a 4-way traffic stop than the symbol of His Cross. On the cover of this latest issue of Venture Inward there is a nice little bird with a olive branch..., ...yet..., ...no circle, and certainly no Cross. ARE, please turn around, Edgar Cayce put his life on the line for ARE Seal that contained His Cross. He and Miss (275) spent an enormous amount of time in the design of that Life Seal for the Association. Please don't set those efforts aside. Here's hoping.========================== The Cayce-Jesus Connection March 21, 2001 ========================== Think not that Jesus, the Pattern, had some influence with Edgar Cayce who incarnated as Lucius, the nephew of Luke, and literally wrote the Gospel of Luke?* *Reading 294-192 Think not that Jesus, the Pattern, had some influence with Edgar Cayce's son, Hugh Lynn Cayce, who incarnated as Andrew?* *Reading 341-19 Think not that Jesus, the Pattern, had some influence with Edgar Cayce's grandson, Charles Thomas Cayce, who incarnated as Luke of Cyrenia, and is the current leader of the ARE today?* *Reading 816-4 and 2824-1 If that is true..., ...then it is incomprehensible WHY the ARE down plays the role of Jesus, as the Pattern for the mind to follow.., ...considering the incarnations of the founder of the ARE, and its two succeeding leaders, the son and grandson. It is mind boggling that the ARE has basically been attempting to write the Pattern IN Jesus OUT of the equation for the mind..., ...in the mind's quest to reach Ideal goal of the Christ Consciousness. According to the Readings, part of the mind never forgets. Could it be that these men have already had the Pattern imprinted on THEIR minds from their past lifetimes..., ...and therefore have not considered those who have not had the opportunity to share that same remarkable experience..., ...that they evidently experienced some 2000 years ago? This writer thinks that is the problem with the ARE..., ...and hopes it will consider that the rest of mankind..., ...that may YET need to imprint His Pattern in order to achieve the Ideal of its constant companion, its soul. That, most assuredly, is why His Book, the Bible, was written..., ...and that, most assuredly, is why Edgar Cayce read and re-read the Bible 67 times to keep re-calling His Imprinted Pattern from the part of his mind that never forgets.=============================== The ARE Distortion of the Cross March 21, 2001 ================================ As anyone will be able to see, as they review the Readings..., ...symbols and emblems were very important factors included in the Life Readings given by Edgar Cayce in the 1930's. Including the symbol of the Cross which was mentioned many times to be included in individual aura charts and life seals that were drawn by Miss 275, beginning in 1934. Reading 254-78, July 1934, reveals that the ARE Seal would do well to contain a dove, an olive branch, and the Cross. The current rendition of the ARE symbol used on their website and on most every other publication has reduced the cross..., ...to look more like a 4 way traffic stop. ...and don't forget to stare at the dove for a moment or so. You will find the dove traveling forwards and backwards. A sign of not knowing which way to go, perhaps? Take a look in the upper left hand corner of the ARE Press web site. http://www.edgarcayce.org/are_press/index.html Further evidence of the ARE Press cross distortion is on the cover of the book..., ..."Edgar Cayce and the Christian Faith" by Lynn Elwell Sparrow, ARE Press 1999. Here it looks like the cross has been reduced to look like a pole of a real estate sign. Take a look again at that same web site. http://www.edgarcayce.org/are_press/index.html It is the "christian faith" book in the middle of the site..., ...the one with the symbol that looks like a real estate sign pole. Apparently Lynn Sparrow is trying to reveal the truth in this book..., ...and the ARE Press is deliberately trying to skirt the truth. The proof seems to be in the pudding of symbols that are currently being designed by psychologists..., ...rather than by the psychic Readings and Miss 275. Many at the top of the ARE are highly trained psychologists, and psychologists are well aware of how visual effects can be used to influence the mind. That is exactly WHY symbols and emblems were, and are, so important in the Readings. Here is apparently, an old ARE symbol that was used in a pamphlet for castor oil. Does it look like here that the symbols do reveal truth that is sometimes altered to suit certain needs?
