The Readings can be boring at times. yet absolutely mind boggling at other times. Many of the Life Readings given for individuals revealed their that past lives were connected to the remarkable times relating to Jesus. According to the Readings..., ,...this writer as learned the following so far. The entity of... Edgar Cayce is a reincarnation of Lucius who wrote the Gospel of Luke. Charles Thomas Cayce, Edgar Cayce's grandson, is probably the reincarnation of Luke, himself. Now hold to your hats... ...Hugh Lynn Cayce, the father of current living Charles Thomas Cayce,... ...was a reincarnation of none other than Andrew, a disciple of Jesus. These are just a few past lives that this writer has uncovered so far through the Readings. Seek and ye shall find, which is part of HIS Pattern, sure seems to hold true here. U C, each personality was given an ID number so that the identity of the individual would remain anonymous. However, comparing the dates of the Readings to the birth dates of the individuals, makes it fairly easy to figure out who is who. The Readings have stressed that this is the time that The Christ Consciousness will begin to unfold. It looks like many of those who lived in the era of Jesus have, or are, incarnating during this present era. It s mind boggling to read about all these past Jesus associations directly corded to those that have, or are now, preserving and disseminating the Readings..., ...and THEN to learn that "Jesusites" and Jesus 'fanatics' have sort of been ostracized from the mainstream thought process that emanates out of the A.R.E. and some of its members. According to the Readings, The Pattern of The Christ Consciousness is IN Jesus.., ..and evidently many of HIS original followers have incarnated in this present era. I hope this is food for thought for many who might re-consider the prospect of altering their current thought process. According to Leslie Cayce, the wife of Charles Thomas Cayce... ...ALL or nearly ALL, of the members the THEN living Cayce family during EC's Working life, received, sometimes. numerous Readings, including Life Readings. Each had their own index ID numbers. 294 Edgar Cayce 538-009 Gertrude Evans Cayce, wife of Edgar Cayce 341-19 Hugh Lynn Cayce, eldest son of Gertrude and Edgar Cayce 2824 Charles Thomas Cayce, son of Hugh Lynn and Sally Cayce, and current head the A.R.E. Check the Readings out. The Readings, just of the personalities mentioned above, ARE worthy of an ARE membership to access the Readings. Even Edgar Cayce's wife. Gertrude, lived a mind boggling experience as an Athenian, around 430 B.C., as the second daughter of a very, very famous person, her name then was Normaline. Check that out. Blessings,========================== Gladys Davis, A Great Lady February 17, 2001 ========================== In the Fall of 1923, Edgar Cayce hired a secretary, Gladys Davis, 18 years old, to take down the information in the Readings while Gertrude conducted and asked her sleeping husband the questions. In September of 1925, the Cayce family moved with Gladys Davis from Selma, Alabama to Virginia Beach. In 1927, the Association of National Investigators was formed. Its purpose was to research and experiment the information contained in the readings. Gladys Davis took it upon herself to preserve the information she had taken such great pains to write down, until Edgar's sons returned from the war. Eventually, she took charge of the project of cataloguing and indexing all of the 14,145 readings. Gladys finished indexing the Readings in 1971, more than a quarter of century after Edgar Cayce had died! After the indexing, she discovered that the readings covered more than 10,000 different subjects — nearly every question imaginable had been asked. She continued working as secretary for the Board of Trustees of the Cayce organizations until her death, at the age of 81, in 1986. Her total service and devotion to Edgar Cayce..., ...and to the manifestation of the Readings covered some sixty-three years. Among the 52 Readings that Edgar Cayce did for her..., ... it was found that there were many reincarnations where the entities of Edgar Cayce and Gladys Davis were associated. One such mutual incarnation association occurred in France, Gladys Davis, entity 288, became the father of the Edgar Cayce, entity 294. She, 288, was born the second daughter of King Louis 14th of France and gave birth to 294, when she was 17 years old.. Being so young, it was difficult to stay together. This association evidently picked up where it left off. Here index ID number is 288. Her married sister also lived in Virginia Beach with her husband. They had a son born on June 21, 1936, in probably, Virginia Beach. A Life Reading was given for her newborn nephew. His index ID number is 1208. According to Reading 1208-1..., ...this young man had a couple of pretty famous prior incarnations. Today, this young nephew of Gladys Davis may still be with us today. What were his names during those incarnations? Ready for this one? None other than Alexander the Great and Thomas Jefferson. Sort of appropriate announcement..., ...as tomorrow just happens to be President's Day. Ok, Now for those who could not find a famous reincarnation for Glady's Davis. She had incarnated as the daughter of Socrates. Ironically, this is what the Law of Webster has to say about the Socratic method of teaching. A method of teaching by means of a series of questions and answers.., .. whereby the soundness of a definition is tested. That Pattern stated one must be born again. What must be born again? The mind. The mind may be born again both physical and spiritually for it may follow the ..., ...Law of One God. We have just seen, through the Readings that the mind, its spirit, and its soul, reincarnate in a NEW body, perhaps many times. The Readings also state that the entity, its mind, spirit, and soul may gain or lose with each reincarnation. Gain or lose what? Its closeness to its Maker As One. Where is the Maker? The Maker is the Creative Force within the NEWLY created body provided as housing for the mind..., ...and Edgar Cayce, most assuredly, would say..., ..."that Force is what ye call God or Father, or Maker". According to the Readings..., ....Adam reincarnated as Jesus. That established the Pattern of reincarnation..., ... that the mind may be born again and again as it is ALLOWED the OPPORTUNITY to draw closer and closer to the Force from which it originated through the numerous created bodies it is given. Think not that OUR Father would NOT give his children many opportunities to become As One with Him? When that happens, the mind itself, makes the great revelation that it, too, is able to be born again out of its own self. Again, it is like what is stated in His Pattern..., .."After His kind whose seed is IN itself"* *Genesis 1:11 We ARE given those opportunities. If a mind can read this, it is being given that opportunity right now while that mind is housed WITHIN its GIVEN created body. The mission in every incarnation is to "cord" or unite the mind to OUR Father, that Force that is within. Everyone may do it, IF each mind is willing. The Readings call that cording..., ...HIS PATTERN that the mind may follow that is..., ...attunement for His Atonement.., ...that allows the mind to become at-onement with OUR Father. The KNOWLEDGE of HOW that is done is GIVEN in the Readings. That is the ultimate purpose of WHY the Readings were manifested..., ..and Edgar Cayce's efforts, in this regard.., ...have not fallen on deaf ears.
