It is a Windows program that works together with the Juno e-mail client and PGP to provide anonymous remailer services. Recently, a pseudonym type of service was added to the software which enables people to engage in two-way anonymous communications.
How do I use the remailer services?
There are two help files available: one for the standard PGP-only remailing services, and one for the non-PGP pseudonym services. These files can be acquired by sending a BLANK message with a SUBJECT as shown below to any of these remailers:
How do I get the remailer software to run my own remailer?
Note that you don't need this to use the remailer or pseudonym services - only if you wish to run a remailer yourself for use by others. The software is free and distributed exclusively by goddesshera@juno.com. To receive a copy of the program, send a message like this:
It will be sent to you in a PGP-armored message (not encrypted), so you must have a copy of PGP to remove the armor and extract the ZIP file contained within. You must have at least one Juno account established and PGP installed and working to run or configure the remailer.
Where do I get PGP so I can run/use the remailer?
There are several sites depending on where in the world you happen to be - here are two:
they have several different lists and formats. You can also send a blank message with the subject of remailer-stats to any of the Juno remailers to get the current statistics and configuration for that remailer.
