2-17- Daytona 500-Looks like Casey is in the same mode as last year! Caught up in an accident and finished 35th. I don't really know why, but Casey has been put in the #7 Dodge, and Jeremy Mayfield has taken over the #19. this has to undermine Casey's efforts. Did he keep the same pit crew or does he have to start all over again? They were starting to click at the end of last season.
2-24- Subway 400-Another bad day! 39th place finish. I know you can do better! Just bad luck. looks like Casey has a black cloud hanging over his head! Not to mention that Sophmore Jinx!
3-3- UAW/DaimlerCrysler 400-About normal for Casey! 42nd place finish.
3-10- MBNA America 500-32nd place finish. Best so far this year.
3-17- Carolina Dodge Dealers 400-Getting better! 26th place finish.
3-24- Food City 500-Gets better every week! 18th place finish! It's tough starting over!
4-7- Samsung/Radio Shack 500-Falls back this week. 35th place finish! Casey just can't seem to get it together.
4-14- Virginia 500-Another bad day! 38th!
4-21- Talladega 500-Casey's woes continue! 26th place! I wish that Casey would not have had to start all over with a new team this year. That just sat him back a year! Jeremy Mayfield hasn't really proven himself in the #19 car!
4-28- NAPA 500-Same old! Not getting any better! 28th place finish!
5-4- Pontiac Excitement 400-Another day of bad luck. Caught up in an accident, not his fault. Was running real good until the mishap! Finished 22nd.
5-18- The Winston*-Ran in the Winston Open to try and qualify for The Winston. Finished 14th. Did not qualify for the big show!
5-26- Coca Cola 600-Best finish this year, 17th! A new crew chief might be making a difference. After Jerry Nadeau left Hendricks Motor sports, his crew chief went with Casey. This has to be a good thing!
6-2- MBNA Platinum 400-Looking better! 14th place finish! Getting closer to 1st!
6-9- Pocono 500-Best finish so far, 11th! Great job! Started 37th! Things are starting to gel!
6-16- Sirius Satellite Radio 400-Not a good day! Started in theback of the pack, finished at the back!
6-23- Dodge/SaveMart 350K-Decent day! Started 37th, finished 21st! Even worked his way to the top 10 for awhile!
7-6- Pepsi 400-Started 10th, finished 20th. About the norm for Casey.
7-14- Tropicana 400-Started 37th, finished 28th. What can I say?
7-21- New England 300-Another unlucky day. Caught up in an accident. Finished 36th.
7-28- Pennsylvania 500-It's the norm! 28th place finish!
8-4- Brickyard 400-Another bad day! Accident!! Another DNF! Finished 38th! Looks like we can write this season off!
8-11- Sirius Satellite Radio@ the Glen-Same old! 27th place finish!
8-18- Pepsi 400-Engine failure! Another DNF! 42 place finish!
8-24 -Sharpie 500-Better than average finish! 18th! That's the best finish in some time!
9-1- Mt. Dew Southern 500-Same old! 28th place finish!
9-7- Chevrolet Monte Carlo 400-At leasr he finished better than he started! 24th place finish.
9-15- New Hampshire 300-Can't say anymore! Going nowhere!
9-22- MBNA -Same old BS!
9-29- Protection One 400-If it weren't for bad luck, Casey would have no luck at all! Another DNF!
10-6- EA Sports 500-At least he finished higher than he started! Started 39th, finished 34th!
10-13- UAW-GM Quality 500-At least he finished higher than he started! Started 38th, finished 30th!
10-20- Old Domimion 500-At least he finished higher than he started! Started 22nd, finished 21st!
10-27- NAPA 500-I'm about ready to give up on Casey!
11-3- Pop Secret 400-I'm waisting my time here!
11-10- Checker 500-Casey is out! Will he have a ride next year? Not looking to good for this youngster!
11-17- Ford 400-Drove the #191 Dodge for this race. Started 12th, finished 37th!
