12-5-2008-Jimmie Johnson wins 3rd championship in a row! Congradulations Jimmie! The media keeps comparing Jimmie's 3 championships to Cale Yarborough's 3 championships in a row. I don't believe there is any comparison other than they were 3 in a row. Cale Yarborough won his over the whole season using the old point system. Jimmie Johnson won his championships over a 10 race shootout! How many championships would Jimmie have won under the old point system? 1, 2, or 0??? He most certainly would not have won 3! If this point system is so great, why hasn't NASCAR implemented it into the Nationwide and Truck series?? Why has interest drop in NASACAR? Why are there so many empty seats at the races? Because people are fed up with all the rule changes. In my opinion, the CHASE makes the regular season boring. When will NASCAR wake up?

7-27-2007-Competition yellow??? Come on. Thank you Goodyear!! You suck! I think that NASCAR needs to invite Firestone to make some tires. Let's give Goodyear some competition. Maybe then they can make some good tires. Why do they keep changing the tires? This is rediculous. Goodyear ruined a good race. 1/3 of the Brickyard 400 was run under caution because of these crappie tires. The longest run under green was 12 laps. They have tires that work. Why does NASCAR allow them to keep changing them? I attended the Brickyard and feel cheated. I'm sure a lot of the fans felt the same way. I am fed up with all the rule, point, car and tire changes. I am losing interest in racing because of it. Nascar is not making things better. They are losing fans. The last couple of years, there has been a lot of empty seats at the Brickyard. I have also noticed that there are more tickets available for other races also. Why is this happening? DUH!!!!!!

11-18-2007- 2007 Nextel Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson! Over 400 points down and in 6th place in the points when the chase began, but takes the point lead for the first race in the chase because of NASCAR's new point system. What's wrong with this picture? They might as well start from scratch for the last 10 races and let everybody have a shot at the championship. What's 400 points? 1000 points? What's the difference? Give everybody the opportunity. It will probably come to that before it's over!

MEMORABLE MOMENTS!

8-15-2004- Tony Stewart craps his pants during race at Watkins Glen! He had to rush off right after winning the race to change his diaper!!! Way to go Tony!!!

2-18-2001 - A sad day in NASCAR HISTORY. Dale Earnhardt Sr. dies in crash at Daytona. A tremendous loss to the racing world. There is no one to blame in this tragic accident. This is the risk every driver takes when he climbs into that race car. Dale knew this. There is one bright spot in all of this and that is Dale went out doing what he loved most and that was RACING! Remember, Dale Earnhardt Sr. is a legend and legends never die!
