Hunting In Pakistan

Established in 1982, Himalaya Nature Tours and Outfitters is the first Pakistan company of its kind. The founder of the company, Group Captain (Retired) M. Shah Khan has lived an enviable outdoor life. He was among the first mountaineers from the Northern Areas and has traversed almost the entire region of the Northern Area at a time when the means of communications were almost non-existent. His unlimited desire to explore and unbounded love for the mountains influenced him to establish this company so that he could share the pleasures of hiking and trekking with other enthusiasts.

In the present day world when means of communications have trampled almost every piece of land, there are still a few places which continue to guard their secrets of beauty. It is these lands which a trekker wants to explore and in the Northern Area of Pakistan there are still many such places.

At Himalaya Nature Tours and Outfitters we know the mountains, the terrain, the language and the people. The staff at the company is well acquainted with these mountains of Gilgit, Chitral and Baltistan. We don't promise to make our mountains less rugged, but we offer you trek and tours that are well organized and reasonable in cost, and we hope it will also prove to be the most enjoyable trek you ever take, anywhere.

The Northern Areas have been called the Crow's Nest of Asia, where the great mountain ranges of Asia meet. To the south is the western sentinel of Himalaya, in the west is the Hindu Kush Range, to the north and east is the Karakoram.

Seven of the seventeen highest peaks in the world are situated in Karakoram, six of them clustered around Concordia in Baltistan, where this panorama culminates in the natural amphitheater formed by the Godwin-Austin and Baltoro Glaciers. The longest Glaciers of the world are also in the Northern Area which spans more than 315 Km in length with a unique blend of colorful culture marked with distinct languages, religions and dresses, the Northern Areas offers more adventures to the trekker than any other part of the World.
