the doors are open from 7:00am until 6:pm.

Fees:

(payment by enrollment)

$30.00 x 5 = $150.00 a week

this is per child
however  I do offer before and after hours at a cost of $5.00 an hour .
Receipts to be given year end

Meals:

I will provide breakfast  ( no later then 9:00am )
morning and afternoon snacks will be provided
as well as a hot lunch.

Program:

a program is used to help the day run smoothly,also it gives the children a secure sense when they know what is ahead of them.

program may look like this :

active free play
breakfast
constructive play
creative
washroom and snack time
outside weather permitting or active play ie-creative dance ,gym program
lunch
sleeptime - a time for children to rest and me to re group and get ready for the afternoon
snack and story time
special activity ( my favorite time )-cooking,special outings etc
outside play ( wheather permitting )
playtime
circle of friends - a time for singing ,active games,stories
playtime
home time

Themes:       I use themes to keep it interesting for me as well as the children ,it is a fun way to learn ......

as well we also focus on special holidays valentine's day,st patrick's day,easter,mother's day, father's day,halloween,thanksgiving,christmas

Children learn every minute of their day,by playing together they learn about sharing, manners,life skills,
I also try hard and let the children be as independant as they possibly can . they learn to pick up after themselfs,getting coats on and off, problem solving all this is very important it helps to create a good self image,circle time is helping them to communicate with each other.creative helps them to express them selfs.
meal time promotes table manners,learning about foods.

Abit about me :

I Have been working with children since graduating in 1971 . My first job was  at a Daycare in Hamilton  "North West Communicare"
"Brant Children's Center" in Burlington
I worked at both the daycare as well as the nursery schools there .
I also ran Brant's first after 4 club, a special club for children 8-10 years
Teacher's aide at "Lakeshore School "
started home day care after we adopted our son Michael.
I really enjoy my job it is the most rewarding job.
