About Myself
My name is Tammy Sandy. I went to a small school called Fredericksburg Academy in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I graduated two years ago, and now I go to UVA with Kate, Meredith and Sean, three of my fellow classmates.
I am majoring in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. UVA does not have biomedical engineering as a major. So, I'm doomed to minor in it.
I miss field hockey quite a bit. But, I just don't have time for it anymore. Two years ago, FA's varsity team was tenth in the state and last year, we were ninth. I miss the team a lot.
I have a cat and a puppy. The cat is the traditional orange tabby and rules the house. The puppy is a black lab mix. She is really hyper and loves to destroy everything she can get her mouth or her paws on.
My favorite novel series is the Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey. They are all about a planet and genetially engineered dragons. They and their riders fight a never-ending battle against a deadly, mindless enemy called Thread. It falls from space, and in the atmosphere, its shell is burned off, and then the entity devours everything organic.
