Granny Square Afghan

This is a picture of the second afghan I made, which was a wedding present for my sister. If you look close (grin), you can see that it is just one HUGEgranny square! For this afghan I used two strands of yarn, blue and white. For each of the sections I did 6 rows. You may use whatever size hook you like. (I used a size P.)

First, ch 8 and sl st to form a loop.

First row, 3 ch, 2 dc, 3 ch, *3 dc, 3ch, repeat from * 2 times, 3 sl st to close. Do this for each end of a row. (You should be at the beginning of a 3 ch opening.) Second row, To make all corners, 3 ch, 2 dc, 3 ch, 3dc, 3 ch. For inside part of rows, 3 dc in each sp created by 3 ch in row below, 1 ch inbetween each 3 dc. Make the afghan as big as you want! Tie off when finished.
