Jane’s Little Tribute to Our Lady Peace
Hi! My name is Jane C aka Raine’s Lover. Welcome to my little tribute to a BIG band (and Canadian), Our Lady Peace!
Our Lady Peace is:
Raine Maida – Lead vocals, guitar
Mike Turner – guitar, back-up vocals
Duncan Coutts – bass, back-up vocals
Jeremy Taggart – drums
And don’t forget Chris Eacrett. He was the former bassist before Duncan came along.
Why do I love Our Lady Peace?
I have liked (or loved?) Our Lady Peace since the release of Clumsy in January 1997. I started seeing ‘Superman’s Dead’ a lot, plus hearing a lot about their new CD from friends and schoolmates. I then developed a major crush and obsession with Raine Maida, the lead singer. I’m still in love with him today and I think he’s very, very cute. But I love the whole band as well, and I think Duncan, Mike, Jeremy, and Raine are very cool and nice people as well.
To Everyone That Knows of My Existence:
I did mention that I am in love with Raine Maida, plus very obsessed. But that does not make me a teeney bopper, as some of you may think. Just because my nickname is Jane C aka Raine’s Lover doesn’t mean I am not a dedicated fan and I don't listen to their music at all. Why am I not a teeney bopper? It’s because I love the whole band, as I mentioned earlier. If I were totally just obsessed with Raine, this website would not be up. I wouldn’t know a thing about the band itself, the music, or how Our Lady Peace came to be.
